Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club

Enjoyed playing the course although it was spoiled due to very rude staff. One of the pros was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I thought the course was in good condition but would think twice about going again if you are going to get talked to like that as a paying customer. I would advise Kirkby Lonsdale golf course not to place themself on a booking app if they don’t want you to play.

Superb course, really loved the layout of the course the fairways were a little soft due to some heavy rain during the week, I was playing on my own and was let through quite a bit but everyone who let me through was great, the guy in the pro shop was great I was after the grip taken of my putter so I could save it and he did it for free, true gent, will definitely be back next year

From the moment we stepped into the pro shop we were superbly looked after. The course was in outstanding condition for the time of year. The members and ground staff were very helpful & finally the 19th was great.

Turned up not knowing what to expect and was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of this course! The views from the majority of the holes were beautiful making the fairways a pleasure to walk down. The course was really well maintained and the greens were in super condition true but quick .

Fabulous course. Great condition with varied and interesting holes. Absolutely spectacular views all the way round and so secluded. The only noises around were that of the babbling brook and nearby farm animals.

The Pro was very friendly and welcoming as were the bar staff and the bacon butties were perfect.

I would highly recommend this course. It is challenging but playable and absolutely worth a visit.

Pro in the shop was a top guy. Course in really good nick. Got held up for the last 8 holes which was a bit annoying. Greens were a bit slow due to club championship in a few weeks.

Me and my friend came for a round and the course was spot on ! Minus four holes being shut but that’s no fault to the club but the weather. Offered to play few more holes to compensate! Overall fantastic course definitely would return thank you

Considering the course had been hit with torrential weather over the past few weeks it held up really well.

The course is well laid out and creates a fair challenge for all standards of golf.

Will definitely be returning.

We played a 4 ball at Kirkby Lonsdale and as soon as we arrived on the club house we were made to feel very welcomed, the staff were lovely and the B @ S buns were fabulous, once we teed off on the first it just got more lovely as we played all 18 holes!!!! I would highly recommend this course and we will return.

I last played the course in 1997,and the whole set up has been transformed for the better. The course was in immaculate condition on a beautiful sunny day. The Clubhouse has been updated, and the staff were very friendly, and very helpful especially Tom Benn inthe Pro Shop,and Matthew in the Bar. I've applied for Country Membership, regards Chris Graham-Taylor.

Incredible service serving brunch. The steward is outstanding and a credit to the golf club. The course was in great condition and the whole day was a pleasure. Thank you
