Perfect Golf Day Photo submitted by t1457828157 on 05/12/2019
Excellent, very hilly, course
Wonderful round at Mellor yesterday, would heartily recommend to anyone. It is very hilly in places so would recommend a biggy to anyone with any sort of mobility issues. We managed carrying but it was hard work, especially in such hot weather.
Really well maintained and some fantastic holes well worth your time. We'll be back (on a buggy)
Very fun layout
Cracking course, hilly and challenging. Some really tidy par 3s.
Unbelievable scenery
Played Mellor for the first time with 2 friends, and it didn't disappoint, the course was in immaculate condition from Tee to green , even though it's very Hilly but expected where it's location is and the weather was unbelievably good. I would recommend a buggy. Staff both in the pro shop and bar we're very friendly and helpful and for the price we paid I would definitely recommend it and will be happy to play again.
Stunning
What a course! From tee to green the course is well maintained. Though the score card shows a short course, it definitely doesn't play short. Varying holes, beautiful scenery, good atmosphere. Just mega. We'll be back.
First time ever on a golf course
Arrived and checked in with the pro shop, staff very friendly, course lovely to play, all sign posted, it is very hilly, but wouldn't say this is a bad thing, let couple of people play through, all very friendly, could of done with halfway house being open just to get a little drink. Some beautiful views when you get to some of the high tee’s
Stopped in clubhouse after round again very clean very friendly,
Would recommend, and will be doing this course again.
Mellor gc
Really nice course .make the front 9 count.... good greens and fairways....just needs a little rain and it would be awesome 👌
Always a good round at mellor
Course and in particular the greens are always spot on. The views you get walking round are spectacular and every hole is challenging and different. My favourite course to escape to.
Amazing
Course was absolutely beautifully kept, the only downside if I was being picky would be the layout of the course is abit awkward and the holes cross the eachother so there was abit of waiting for other people, other than that fan not complain, amazing course and very picturesque while also proving quite challenging which made for great fun. Will definitely be returning soon.
Great course
Great course, and greens and layout and a darn good walk. A beautiful golf course
Great challenging course
Mellor Golf Club is somewhat of a hidden gem. It probably doesn't get the recognition that it deserves due to it's location but well worth seeking out. Will definitely visit in the summer months as I suspect the greens will be a good test. The views and scenery are stunning and the course kept in very good condition given the amount of rainfall.
Immaculate course
Really well kept course. Challenging and fun. Great views of Manchester and surrounding areas.
Mellor GC review
First time I’ve played here and would not think twice about recommending the course and the club pro. Booked a week before rang for a buggy with no problems with the pro. Course is in fantastic condition and worth every penny of the £30 green fee.
Course has great views of Manchester which would intern confirm it’s a little hilly if you can I’d strongly recommend a buggy for £30. Looking forward to playing here again
