Great value for money with Golf Now, challenging course on a very windy November morning. Nice wide forgiving fairways

Cheap round, 2nd shots are a lottery due to ripples on the fairways, leading to terrible lies, very frustrating if you drive well and have an unfair lie for your 2nd.

The course is in good condition. The undulating ground caused problems with the lie but did not detract too much from the game.

Was a little disappointed to find all greens hole 1 to 18 were fully sanded and had holes poked.

Some tee boxes were not maintained and like hitting out of the rough.

Overall a decent experience.

Overall a good long course with some challenging holes , only downside is the ridges on the fairways , after walking over them for 18 holes my knees were a bit achey they reminded me of corrugated iron sheets . Plus side is the greens very fast and true & and good par 5s and long par fours .

I will play there again good value and friendly players and staff didn’t use the clubhouse though.

Played here many a time and the greens are in the best condition I’ve seen them

Had a round at Newcastle United with Tom, The course was on really good condition considering the summer we have had followed by a couple of days of torrential rain. Greens were great and the whole place well looked after.. May sound daft but links feel in the middle of a city.

Couple of weird bounces due to the undulations which also play havoc with my knees.

Shop good friendly helpful as was everyone we met out on the course.

Rough is a knock out if your lucky. Definitely would play again.

Never liked the rolling fairways as it kills you on the back 9,but the course is free of drama,no water involved but great greens and fairways,well done groundsmen,enjoyed my round and the Sun crept out several times,happy days

Thectee boxes were poor but the greens were excellent

Played it for the first time. Picked a quiet day so ample car parking. . greens were in great condition what a test for the putter only thing that spoiled it for me was the undulating fairways not a flat lie on the course up and down dale on every hole . Called in for a pint and the beer was great staff very friendly sat outside on the tables in the sun .

Course decent enough, greens in good condition, but should of been told there was team match on prior to booking as were practically forced of the course , had options of going back to first tee but there was as a queue already at this point, just a bit disappointed that no one in the club shop bothered to even mention the competition taking priority on the course on that day

Really good value, v central to Newcastle, v friendly and course is more challenging than the forgiving fairways would suggest.
