You won't be disappointed 👌
Always a must play every year, always in top notch condition.
Good club house and good selection of food and drink.
Great Course, great condition
First time I play the course. Got a hearty welcome in the pro shop, with a good introduction to the course. Conditions on the course were excellent given the time of the year. A couple of winter tee mats, greens in excellent condition. Quite a few blind shots, annoying when the group ahead of you thinks the bells are just for decoration, as was the case today. Quite a bit of ups and downs on the course as well, so a good workout when walking the course.
Overall very much enjoyed the course.
Great layout
Well established course in good condition. Greens in superb order for time if year. Staff/pro friendly as ever. Thoroughly recommend.
Best winter round
Played Tynside this Sunday beat winter round I have had in years. Only two winter greens. Tees in excellent condition only three temp tee boxes but even these looked brand new and big big tee areas course is one of the best around
Great course, awesome staff!
Played here for the first time on the proper course, but have played the par 3 a few times with my 8 year old... It's absolutely gorgeous!
This is also the most welcoming and friendly course I've ever played. I've chatted to 2 different staff members in the clubhouse, a lady who sorted out a par 3 membership for me and my son, and the general manager, and all were just unbelievably lovely and friendly.
As a fairly new golfer (been playing 2 years) I've found some courses a bit cold or unfriendly (or just neutral) and this is the first time I've arrived somewhere and immediately felt valued and welcomed.
The course itself was really lovely despite it being November with interesting holes and great views. Teeing off on the 18tg towards the old clubhouse and church spire was my absolute favourite, but there's many holes that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Course was in great condition despite lots of rain recently, drainage seems very good here. There were a few temporary greens but it didn't spoil the round.
Would highly recommend this course to people, it's not overly long and fairly flat apart from the odd hill... I have health issues so struggle with hilly courses, but had no issues here.
Not too long, challenging, nicest looking clubhouse I've seen, best staff... Can't wait to play here again.
One of the best
Played Tynside golf course couple of times this year.
It has to be one of the best golf courses in the north east the par 3 16th is absolutely stunning the views and landscape is beautiful and the course is in excellent condition after the dry summer it’s definitely my fav course in the area.
Quirky course
A very challenging course which was playing very long since it was very windy and the there was not much run in the fairways. So even reaching some of the shorter par 4's into the wind, in two, was a real challenge.
Greens had a nice pace to them, but I didn't hole a putt all day! Some terrific holes though, with blind tee shots, picturesque par 3's and dramatic changes in elevation. The staff at the club were very warm and welcoming too. I would love to return here in the summer for a round when the fairways have hardened and the winds (hopefully) dropped.
Well worth stopping by to play if you’re in the area
Special mention to Gary the pro who went out of his way to make us feel so welcome. Pity access road was being closed off meant we were unable to sample the food which I had heard was excellent.
Great day!
A must play
Golf course was immaculate by far the best greens I’ve played in early May time . Big credit to green staff for presenting the course in amazing conditions . Short course not to difficult so scoring is good , views around the course are nice .Gentlemen in pro shop very chatty and made us feel very welcomed . Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use club house . Will definitely be back can’t wait to play again in summer
Great course …
Great course … well looked after … definitely worth the trip
Great course
Excellent condition amd challenging requires accurate drives. The only criticism is that the fairways are often very close together and there are balls flying from all angles.
