Quite a while since I have played it and at the right time of the year it is a very nice course

Played recently, first time on the winter greens here, yes I know they are winter greens but they were exceptionally poor as was the layout of them

I don’t mind paying the green fees at all but £40 is way over priced for the current condition of the course compared to others in the area. Disappointing

Unfortunately the day we played was probably the wettest of the year! We played 11 holes and then had to give up as the weather was just too bad. However, I look forward to going back; really nice course, well laid out and in great condition (even with a month of rain landing on it). Couldn't really get much of an idea of the pace as we were the only people daft enough to play on such a day and we didn't stick around to try out the clubhouse but it looked nice. Staff were very helpful when my playing partner's bank card wouldn't work and let him pay for an umbrella after we finished our (curtailed) round. Will definitely go back.

Played course during the height of Summer, course was in superb condition and the greens were lightning fast. Some great feature holes particularly the par 3’s. We played as a fourball and got round in less than 3 hours.

Called in clubhouse afterwards for a quick pint, greeted by friendly, welcoming staff.

Would definitely recommend, great hot deal.

Greens in great condition for spring time. Some really nice par 3 enjoyed my round.

The only reason I have not given full marks across the board is due the playing winter greens. Not that I mean that in a negative way because the greens look like they will be pristine when they are back in play. Quite a golfer friendly layout, being a high handicapper I enjoyed the round as there were not many hazards which I always seem to find. Look forward to returning in the better weather. Special note for all staff at the course I was made to feel extremely welcome. Thanks

Well laid out ciourse,Winter tees but full greens,Staff in pro shop and clubhouse helpfull and obliging.

The course had all the greens slit but already you could see the benefit of all the work which had been done and they all looked very green and played ok, we appreciate this work has to be done and it didn’t spoil the round on a first class course excellent layout and will be back

Greens had been slit snd course recovering from summer drought?

3hrs for a three ball excellent Easy Walk and well laid out

Pro,Steward and ground staff friendly and efficient all in all a good days golf.

Friendly & helpful staff, in fact the Pro let us play early as the course was quiet. The fairways were in good condition considering the very hot & dry weather we have been having & the greens were superb. Thoroughly enjoyed our day golfing & will certainly play there again soon.

From the initial welcome in the Pro’s shop right through to holing our on the 18th I have nothing but high praise for the staff and brilliant course (both in terms of its design, interest and condition).

Course was in very good condition considering the recent weather. Staff and member welcoming and pace of play great. I play here again and recommend to anyone.

Played on a Mon late am by which time most club players were out on the course but no hold ups. Hadn’t played this before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the course and condition of fairways and greens, especially given the time of year. I was carrying and found the undulating terrain quite tiring but my playing partners had trolleys so had no problem. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. All in all great value and highly recommended.

First time I'd played Wortley,, but I'd definitely come back again. Really interesting, undulating course...no two holes the same.

Lovely classy, peaceful course

Diversity of wildlife on the way round, would recommend it to any level of golfer.

Great course lots of variation,thinking mans course greens excellent for this time of year and tricky.

Staff very friendly and helpful will return again for sure.
