Old Willow Park
Great place to play. Plenty of space to hit balls. Watch out for the creek that is in play throughout the course. The greens are the same throughout. The sand is the best I've ever seen. Play here to have fun.

Great value
I first played this course when it was still Willow Park and I've been playing here weekly post covid lockdowns. The pace of play is usually pretty good and the staff is very friendly.
It's a great place to bring casual and new players due to the value, overall well maintained condition of the grens/fairways, and abundance of wildlife (deers, turkeys, rabits).

The course was great other than the fact that there were 8 people on the same flight in front of my 5:50pm tee time

fun course
thankfully a tee time opened as midmorning saturday morning. If you are traveling to bay area, plan ahead, as the courses fill up fast.
Redwood canyon was perfect for our 4 some, had low handicap of two to a high of 33. course was challenging as fairways narrowed and between hillsides and the creek running along fairways, as our 33 handicap player wasn't hitting straight, lost a few balls. Thankfully, he found as many as he lost int he same areas. Greens were in great shape, help the balls when landing on the green. Water is being used sparingly on fairways, but most gave a good lie.
Fun course to play as its not to difficult.

Enjoyable, but under construction improvements course
Lots of construction on the course to expand it at this time. Car paths are very bumpy, would be nicer experience if they were paved. Otherwise, course was enjoyable. Pleasantly set in the valley among the trees lining the sides. Course is clean (not lined with people's trash and cigar butts).

Fun quirky
Never got used to slow greens. Plus some pin placements this day were unrealistic. Maybe greenskeepers should play golf. Course can be had if you are straight off the tee. Penalties for spraying drives. But I had fun and got a great deal. I will be back

Having used this GolfNow site for many years many courses, and many outings this is the first review that I was moved to write.
Just a bit of background, the course was good, but the guy or the manager at the time of my scheduled round at 11:50 AM, seem to be insulted at my arrival at 11:51 AM. He said I was too late and he might not "allow" me to play the round. He mentioned the 15 min. check-in time before the round was his Authority to cancel my golf round.
After reading and re-reading your FAQs under GolNow Basic, it did not show up. After talking with other players during the round, they said he was this way with most black me.

Very nice golf course
I like this golf course for some reason that this golf course is quite narrow. Excellent place to practice short game. Friendly staff and nice golf layout. Sometimes a little bit slow but tolerable.I always play this course and sometimes I invited my friends to play here with me
