Great place!
I love this place because it’s tucked away in nature. It doesn’t feel like you are in the Bay Area when you play there and to me that’s a plus. Course layout was fun and was good condition when I was there.
Course is coming along!
It is apparent they want to improve the conditions by adding drainage. The course has come a long way in the last year!!

Pace needs to be supervised
When I arrived at the fourth hole a par 3 , there were four players on the green and two more foursomes in front of me waiting to tee off. At that point it was gonna be another 30 minutes before I could start the hole so I packed it up and went home. I ended up paying $36 for 3 holes of golf. The guy at the club house apologized, but never offered to refund me or give me a rain check. It easily would’ve took six hours to have completed the round, not too happy.

A must play in the Bay Area
Redwood Canyon is a super fun course to play.
Several short par 4’s can help your scoring. Fairways and putting greens are well groomed.
Challenging par 5’s. Great news. 18th hole is getting expanded hopefully by June.
Tee boxes can be a little chunky. So take your time to find best area to launch. 1st hole is most challenging. Use your 3 or 5 wood to start it off.
Lots of creek veins running the side lines and across 9th hole. Be patient. You can score really well here.

Decent course. Not for slicers
Course conditions were okay, they aerated the greens recently. For slicers of the ball there is a creek that runs down the right side of most of the front nine,

Trees and More Trees with Water
I like this course because of the views, it’s pretty flat but has a lot of trees that can give you problems if you can’t pull off all of your shots, Fade, Draw, Low Runners. It also has a creek that comes into play especially if you slice the ball.Hayward

Gorgeous course. Lost some balls but that's because I suck. If you hit it straight... you are dialed in!! Very poor cell service so keep that in mind. Schools en route to the course so Getting through to the course could be challenging at the wrong time. But well worth it!! Enjoy!

Joke of a course
Terrible pace of play. 1 hour+ “frost delay”. And then Clubhouse only gave out range balls to what looked like the locals/regulars while telling us they had no more balls. No cell service. Joke of a course, don’t waste your money

Cool track
Came in as a single and got paired with some younger gentlemen like myself, which was nice. I came from about 1 hr 20 min to come play at 8am. Very slow in the pro shop in terms of handling people in line. Only about 3 people were in line but it took over 10 minutes to get to me. One gentlemen just bought a small bucket and the older man at the counter walked him out to go get his balls (ha) ? Never seen that, we’re all grown and can do this you’d think. Then has the nerve to say since I’m VIP golfnow that I should have been there 15 minutes early. I looked at him and said we’ll you’ve seen me standing in your line for 10 haven’t you? Not a word back. Cool course with weird greens Forsure. Layout is not bad. Lots of trees/no houses. Favors a draw/fade equally. Not a long course by any means so grab your wood or long iron instead of your driver and you’ll be fine.

The worst golf course
This is the worst golf course I have played. I have played golf for over 50 years and I am a golf professional. I have managed golf courses.
The course and course conditions were poor, although the greens were ok.
the golf shop staff was terrible at check in, unprofessional and they had no control over the first tee. I asked when we could start and if they would announce the order of play. They lied and said yes they would. They never called the order of play. We stood at the starting hole for over one half hour with 4 or five groups who went in front of us. One of the groups was the courses golf instructor conducting a playing lesson at 2:00 pm on a busy Sunday!!
the pace of play was slow with no marshals. We played 6 holes and there were two groups waiting on the 7th tee. We quit and went home.
You shouldn't have this course on your website. It is the worst course I've played. I will never play this course in the future.
I would like to request a refund of our fees, or some credit for another round.

New Sand in Bunkers
Cut down tree branches and weeds around hazards.
New Marshal making rounds speeding up pace of play
a new proper Beverage Cart
Crews constantly out mowing, repairing fairways, digging drains, weeding and watering.
Just needs 2 more things to make it a premium course!!
Pave Cart Path throughout entire course, a cell tower so phones will work there. entire course is a T-mobile dead zone

Pace of play
I wish there was a rule for people who are walking to have to play after 12 or tee off on 10 and people with carts tee of.on 1. It shouldn’t take 5.5 hrs to play this course.
