About
Situated within the Oakland Hills, Lake Chabot Golf Course offers stunning views that stretch across Oakland, Bay Bridge, and the Lake Chabot area. The course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1932. Slight changes have been made over the years to improve the layout but it has always maintained its playability. The terrain is hilly, which makes flat lies hard to find. Accuracy and precise shot placement will get you far. The stretch of holes from the 15th to the finish has the best scenery on the golf course. From the risk-reward 15th hole, you can see all the way to San Francisco. The unique final hole is a par 6 that plays to a whopping 673 yards from the back tees. It's a straight, downhill hole with a memorable view.

Canceled without info
They canceled without letting us know. This is my first ever review. They booked a tournament and canceled everyone else. I drove over 45 minutes to take my son and when we got there they had booked a tournament and canceled us without any calls. They would even offer us a later tee time. Sorry but won't ever go back there. The other golfers who got canceled on were just as surprised and upset

Interesting course
It’s a great layout and a fun course. The greens were in decent shape. Better than many of the fairways. A little overpriced given the condition, but still a challenging round.

An extremely fun course with two of the most fun holes in California. Hole 9 (par 3 off a cliff,) and 18 (par 6 with a massive downhill.) This course is very long and hilly but a great course to play. One of my favorite courses.

Enjoyable round
Always enjoy playing this course with good challenges and fantastic setting. Some bare areas but overall in average to good condition.
