About
Situated within the Oakland Hills, Lake Chabot Golf Course offers stunning views that stretch across Oakland, Bay Bridge, and the Lake Chabot area. The course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1932. Slight changes have been made over the years to improve the layout but it has always maintained its playability. The terrain is hilly, which makes flat lies hard to find. Accuracy and precise shot placement will get you far. The stretch of holes from the 15th to the finish has the best scenery on the golf course. From the risk-reward 15th hole, you can see all the way to San Francisco. The unique final hole is a par 6 that plays to a whopping 673 yards from the back tees. It's a straight, downhill hole with a memorable view.

I Love This Golf Course
This municipal is consistently one of the most diverse courses around, in terms of gender, age, and race, and the vibe couldn't be any sweeter. I hadn't played there in over five years and was really happy about the condition which seemed better than my last visit. The holes are quirky and individual, with views in all directions of the Bay Area as you chug up and down hills and valleys. Forgotten how much I loved the place.

Over all course is in good shape some of the tee. Boxes need some work but fairways and greens are in good shape I recommend this course it's fun and good pace of play

A fun course
Lake Chabot is a fun course. The 18th hole is a par 6 which I love.
The 9th hole is a41 yards straight down.
The pace of play is good. There are many hills and Lake Chabot is one of the few courses I always take a cart.
