Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch

The course was great, water on almost every hole. The tee box, fairways, and greens were in great shape. Only two things I didn't like about it, I was a group of four and we played 2 on 2 best ball scramble. We were not playing slow by any means. We had to let 2 groups of 2 play thru back to back. Why didn't the starter ask them to join together? And we didn't see the cart person until on back nine.

Course was in great shape, even after recent aeration, and greens were fast and smooth. I would rate this course as one of the best, if not the best, in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Staff was very friendly, courteous and professional in all aspects. Highly recommend playing Azario!

I have been wanting to golf this course for a while. Finally I got a great deal so I jumped at the opportunity. The course is in wonderful shape even though it’s been very dry for a couple of months. It has good practice facilities, including free balls. The carts have very good GPS. The fairways and rough and traps and T boxes were all great. The greens were tricky because of a lot of undulation. It has a scenic design that would be even better if it wasn’t for all the construction. Glad I went there.

Played Azario for the first time and now understand what all the hype is about. It’s a bit pricey but is clearly one of the best courses in Manatee County. Can highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Beautiful course. Pace of play was horrible - slow in front of us and people hitting to us for 18 holes behind. If they would stagger tee times better would be a great course to play. Open fairways very tough greens

We played on probably the windiest day this year so that was our call to play in that weather. The course was awesome. The fairways are wide and the greens roll true

Will play there again.

Immaculate experience! I’ve got nothing bad to say about this course or it’s condition. The greens were a bit slow but that’s to be expected during a dry season of no rain. Beautiful course and great layout. The cart guys were extremely friendly. 100% recommended playing here!

Azario at Lakewood Ranch has a great layout but has some issues. The first is the rough, if you are not in the fare way you find yourself sitting a combination of dirt and bits of chunky grass. The fare ways were in good shape. The greens were slow and that was a good thing due to the extreme undulations in a number of the greens. The worst part was slow play due to lack of marshals. The group, two in front of us was all over the course and subsequently everyone behind them had to wait. We waited approximately 3 to 5 minutes for every shot. There were several holes open in front of this group. The bunkers and traps were in good shape with an appropriate amount of sand. That being said I managed a low mid 80’s round and had a reasonably good time!

Course was in great shape. Layout was challenging, yet enjoyable. Greens had a lot of undulation and played a little slow. Magnificent scenery. A must play!

Greens were somewhat shaggy and not smooth on your putts. Tee boxes were shaggy.

If you want a challenge on putting this is the place to go. Lots of humps in the greens, making it extremely difficult for a better than average golfer to get close to the flags.
