Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch

I have played Azario 15 times and love the course. However they removed all GPS from their carts and there are no markers on the course. For the first time, I was disappointed in the course. The greens were harder than normal and extremely quick, but for $150.00 It would be nice to know your distances.

I have played this course 2/3 a month for few winters now

It is really showing some wear and tear - balls landing on the greens are now throwing up dust

Greens will not hold anything and given hiow crazy the greens are designed - its a problem

Hopefully they will spend $ on course and shift some focus away from the homes being built

Hopefully i am wrong but this feels like Legacy at Lakewood all over again - nice course that falls into disrepair and charges higher and higher prices

Excellent course. Still using old gas carts with no gps.

One of the better conditioned courses in the area and turf is NOT Bermuda grass so very green and plays more like northern tracks. Good practice range and putting/chipping greens. No clubhouse yet

Great course! Fairways best around, Sand traps have sand! Great concept. Greens fast and challenging. I think the greens designer for this course missed his calling! He or she should have been a roller coaster designer.

Will play again if the price is right!!!

Very easy wide open fairways lead to some mini golf like undulating hilly greens. Greens and grounds were taken care of nicely, no bald spots or dead grass, was impressed

by the condition of the course compared to many others in the area. Nice layout, with plenty of bathrooms/ ice / water machines. For the price would have liked a cart w gps, at least more yardage markers in the fairways. Range was nice, hit into a pond at floating islands. Getting in to the course was a bit of a maze. Staff was super friendly, and accommodating. I would say this is a 75$ a round course not really 150$ it didn’t impress me that much!

This course is about 3 years old and is in premium condition. The course has very technical greens, they are fast and very hilly. The greens are the toughs part of the course. The green are very consistent, just don’t be above the hole! The one thing I dislike about the course is the lack of 100 and 150 yd markers on the par 4’s and 5’s. The course does provide distance maps in each cart but most references are traps and many times not of much help on the hole.

Beautiful course. In great shape. Growing pains and not all built out yet....
