Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch

Course was in great shape. Fun to play, although greens are trickier than they need to be. . After stopping for $85 worth of sandwiches and drinks at the halfway house we were running 9 minutes behind desired pace of play. On the 11th hole we were told to speed up play or skip a hole. Ruined the fun vibe as we were back on pace by the 13th. Although I would recommend the course I won’t be back. Someone should remind the rangers that golf is supposed to be fun. Don’t offer to sell food if you don’t want golfers to stop and buy it.

This course is absolutely stunning the turf was perfect the fairways were perfect the staff was perfect everything about the course is perfect.

Now for the greens, the greens are a little slow they are covered with many hills and valleys you better be below the whole or you can town on a bogey or worse let’s say that again stay below the whole or the score will skyrocket.

I will definitely play it again.

Very fair but challenging course, particularly with 20 mph winds.

This is a beautiful, well designed, relatively new course that sits in the middle of an enormous yet to be built community. There is a proshop and that’s pretty much it. The rest will come. The course is challenging, particularly its greens. Definetly will play again.

Loved layout, big and open. Greens were very large mostly and placement on green was critical, to avoid 3 puts. Teed at 212 pm and ended up finishing almost in dark, as pace of play got really slow on back nine, for some reason. Would definitely play there again, top notch, but pace is important. Playing late, sometimes you roll dice, but starter said we’d finish with no issue, so hopefully a fluke

Good course, very new in a community that is largely undeveloped. Pace was good, not rushed. All staff were pleasnat and professional. There is a 'Bunker Shack' for food but no lodge (i.e., dining options are limited). Nonetheless, we had a great round and would receommend course.

This course is very new but in excellent condition. The greens need another year or two to mature but are putting true. Bring a few extra balls - water in play on most holes!

Great layout. Lots of room in the fairways and large greens. Can still get in trouble but overall very forgiving. Greens are still relatively new so not a lot bite yet but they roll well
