Greens were on the slow side… But that’s probably good because a bunch of undulation on all the greens… Like Donald Ross on steroids !!

Landing area off the tees is very generous..........

Great course....has that new car smell. Good mix of long and short holes and some good dog legs. At some points this course had a Midwest course feel. The only knock I have is that the greens are not mature yet...some were very and all were slow.

Really nice lay out. Fairly wide fairways on most holes. Small greens that are very undulated. Greens were slow because they are new.

I played here on a last minute booking and what a great choice. Brand new course that’s been open less than a year. Fun layout yet challenging. Greens were not fast, but they were good and had a lot of undulation. When I say they were not fast, that’s only because they are new and can’t really speed them up, that’s not a knock on the quality. The rest of the course from tee to green was in pristine condition. I can’t wait to come back again as the years past and watch this course mature bc it is a good one!

Too flat and boring for my tastes. Course conditions rival other Lakewood courses, but there is no dimension to the course, meaning lack of trees and landmarks. Poor value when compared to Lakewood National. We were turned away at the private course named Esplande to learn there is another course under the same name at Azario. Most confusing. As a result we were late for our tee time, but staff was very accommodating letting us out half hour later to warm up. Truly mixed feelings about the course.

The greens roll terrible. They are choppy, unrolled and beat up. I’ve played this course many times since it opened but my last 3 times the greens are horrendous and the price is WAY too expensive for these kind of greens. I’m a 11 handicap and it’s not good when you have to force the ball to the hole rather than finesse it. Until the price drops or the greens improve, I will not play or recommend Azario.
