Course is in immaculate shape. Great layout. Excellent pace of play, though we teed off earlier. Greens are firm. Greens are a little slow, as they were just top-dressed with sand. Since it’s a new course, they’re not cutting the greens super tight, to allow the root system to mature. Well worth the money if you find a deal on tee times.

They layout is great, and hopefully over the next year as the course settles it improves. But the greens are atrocious. Whoever designed them seemd like the only goal was "i want everyone to 3-4putt every hole". Ridiculous undulations and almost 0 flat spots. I enjoy challenging greens, but this is just too much. And on top of that large sections are already dead and covered with green sand.

Course is in incredible shape we play a lot of diff courses and this one is at the top. Like any new course greens don’t hold and they are really tricky

Very impressed extremely friendly staff great layout pretty quick greens. Only complaint I personally hate aquatic driving ranges but just my opinion.

Course was great for high handicapper (me) and a very good striker (buddy)... but both had an extremely hard time putting for par... toughest greens possible but worthy of your challenge

It’s a great modern design but green speeds were very inconsistent. If you are concerned with Covid, be prepared to avoid the bag drop. No mask= No tip from me guys.

Swales, valleys and many buried elephants. Large greens but few playable hole locations.

Bring out the bulldozers and start ovver

Great fun! Greens are tricky with many undulations.

Loved the layout. Fair course from all T locations. Pin positions were difficult and you need to stay below the hole. Lot of slope to the greens. Will play again.

First time at Esplanade and I really enjoyed it. A few things stood out to me:

1. Great value- $49 for a 2PM tee time

2. Excellent facility- I know its fairly new, but the clubhouse and practice facility were all impeccable

3. Pace of play- 3 hours to play 18 holes

4. Great layout, wide enough for a slice or hook, but challenging enough to make you think before each shot.

My only negative worth noting was the condition of the greens. It appeared they may have just been treated / sprayed as they were a different color from all surrounding grass. Because of this it was basically like you were putting on compacted dirt, not a great roll. It didn't ruin my round, but i know if I was paying $129 to play, I'd be more critical.

Overall, love the course, would love to play it again.

really challenging course.......lots of water, massive undulations on each green, its going to be a terrific golf course (it opened in 2020).............def recommend........

Course opened past summer, friends told me it was very nice but the greens, while in great shape, were painfully slow. Word was that once they were not brand new and cool winter weather rolled around, they would speed up.

Played Nov 28. While course conditions were excellent, greens were painfully slow. I will not spend the money to play there until this is rectified. My personal opinion is that the designer went way overboard on the undulation of the greens. If they make the greens faster, people will be four putting all day and complaining, pace of play will be worse etc..
