About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Would recommend
This was my 2nd time playing this course. I really enjoy it. The greens were in good shape. They rolled smooth and quick. Not a terribly long course. But definitely a fun track. The taproom and restaurant behind 18 green is a great spot to have some beers and food after.
Dubsdread is Orlando Classic
Proshop staff very congenial, even to us cheap GN Hot Deals players. The starter paired me up with another single, super nice guy & we had a great time. I didn't have many GiR's, but chipped & putted well on these nice greens.. There's a couple long par4s, challenging for me cuz I'm old & don't hit it very far. We had a couple of holes with passing showers, the rain softened the greens/frontage even more, and made the 400+ holes play longer. If it weren't for 3-bad scores, I would have broken 80 (Dbles on 4, 8, & 16) ......no excuse to course conditions. Greens, fairways, even sand bunkers are good. Thanx to GN Hot Deals for price discount, and another Kudos to beautiful cart gal - Isabella (who'd I'd like to enter into Bev cart contest).
Saturday Golf
Course was packed as normal, fairways and greens were in good shape. Greens rolled very well, just a little slower on course than on practice green. Foursome played in 3 hours 40 minutes. Beverage cart girl was nice as well as pro shop.
My home course
Course is in good shape, had an afternoon tee time played with 2 other golfers, we had a good time and pace pace of play was good.
Great course
great course. A little more challenging to play as a newer golfer compared to other public courses. Pace of place was good but tee times are stacked and constantly stopping and waiting.
Good conditions, fast greens.
The course is in good shape overall, some rough spots. Greens are rolling true and fast.
Always fun to play, short course but it will challenge you to hit your spots.
