Dubsdread Golf Course
About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Dubs and Tap Room are the best
Great historic course with layout that demands all the shots. Tips are short but Par 70, so still some long holes. Course was in great shape and although greens recovering from aeration they were fast and true. Play here then go eat off the unbelievable menu at the Tap room. We sat at the bar and gorged. Just go play, then eat!
Bargain
When we played, they just punched the greens the day before so we only had to pay $20 to play 18 holes fastest punch greens had ever seen 4 inches of rain the night before it was a great help
Nice course
Awesome and affordable!
The folks at Dubsdread GC really know what they’re doing. If you’re lucky, you’ll have Herman check you in for your tee time where you’ll get friendly service along with a complimentary bucket of 15 range balls. The starters are always great and let you know how the fairways and greens are playing. Course is consistently well-kept as the groundskeepers do a lovely job. Even when the greens are aerated, they still play fantastically. Easily my favorite local course in Orlando.
Great course
I love dubsdread. It is a great historic course. It’s kept in great shape by the city of Orlando.
love the course … but..
i have played here once before… loved the layout and course… so when i was in town i decided to play here again… i really wish golf now or the course had a way to let you know they punched the greens … frustrating but i get it … it’s needed. just hate playing on greens like that.. anyway still love the course… i’ll be back in a few weeks to try again.
Dubsdread golf
Couse was in great shape, got caught in rain storm but course drained well a few spots, fairways were excellent greens had arrifacation but greens rolled great, got the tee time on tee off for great price, would like to play more but only draw back is there prices are on high side, but great course.
Great conditions
Course is in great shape. Greens are firm and fairways are in great shape
Unfortunately
The only down side to this course is pace of play. Always the same story. People playing for the wrong tees. Waiting for the fairway to clear only to top the ball.
Incredible first impression!!
While on vacation I made sure to do some research and came across Dubsdread. Started to play 9 only, but decided to play all 18 after I was paired up with some amazing guys that are regulars. Jimmy, Jack and Mark were awesome to play with. Everything from tee boxes to greens were in great shape. All in all what an incredible first experience. I will definitely be coming back!
Great experience at Dubsdread
My friend and I had a great time at Dubsdread. We were able to get out in the afternoon and play 9 holes. The starter Bill was very nice and helpful. The course was in great shape. We went to the Taproom after. I highly recommend!
Classic Track
Dubsdread is in good shape. It more than makes up for its average length with a challeging layout. And you have the Tap Room after your round, the best 19th hole in golf!
More Range balls
When I booked this tee time it came with a set of warm up balls. That is about 10 balls. I am not sure about other people, but I need a few more than 10z other than that great course and round until the rain came. But that’s not the courses fault.
