About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Good
Have played all over Orlando and always wanted to play here. Course could use a little more irrigation but overall was excellent. Greens were 9/10 on the stimp which I prefer. Staff was over the top nice. Great food at tap room. I will play again. Might me a little over priced but still good value.
Great Course
Course is in great shape, carts and gps are nice, will be back asap
Great value play
Course is not long (about 6,200 from the tips), but the conditions were solid and the pace of play was fantastic (a three-hour round!!!). The staff was also very friendly and the restaurant is a great spot for a post-round snack and drink. Definitely recommend playing a round here!
Great course
Was very challenging and very tight which made play fun. Great staff and very knowledgeable. And everyone that was playing was also very friendly
First Timer
The course was in great shape after all the rain the last few days. Unfortunately cart path only, so hit the cart path. I’m not crazy about hitting of mats at the driving range or into a lake for distances. Yes there was some island and sand mounds to aim at. Not my preferred driving range. Putting and chipping area was great. Thanks and great friendly staff.
Abysmal pace of play
Herman in the pro shop was a 10/10, but the starters and PA’s couldn’t care less about your experience. Allowing push carts and golf carts to go out together really slows things down. Waited for 10+ minutes at every tee box after the 2nd hole and ended up leaving before my round was over. When there are 3 groups waiting to tee off on one hole, with another group in that fairway AND on that green as well…something needs to be done by a PA and nothing was.
