Dubsdread Golf Course
About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Don't Let This Short Public City Course Fool You
This course in is great shape, the tee boxes, the fairways, and best of all the greens. Tee'd off at 720 and was paired up with a really good dude, the starter was nice, the guy in there clubhouse was very polite and friendly, even the ranger was cool. There were two groups of walkers in front of us that were kinda slow, so it was a bit slow but not slow enough to disturb my round. I highly recommend this course you won't be disappointed. Don't let the yardages fool you either its tougher then you'd think.
Great Conditions
The greens were perfect and rolling true. Fairways were in great shape. The pace of play was great…we finished our round in 3 and a half hours. The staff there is probably the friendliest of all staffs across Central FL and I play everywhere. And don’t get me started on the food!!! The Tap Room is BY FAR the best golf restaurant in Orlando. I’d put it against a lot of restaurants. It’s so good that I’ve gone to eat dinner there without even playing golf. If you can get a tee time on this very popular course I’d definitely recommend it. It’s an older course so it’s short and tight but definitely enjoyable. I believe it’s like 6200 from the tips.
Fun but tight
This is a fun course, but you’ll need to leave the big dog in the bag on most tees. Many of the holes have little to no room for a miss, left or right. However, the course was in excellent condition, the gentleman in the pro shop was super friendly and informative, and the carts had gps. Overall, we had a great day of golf. Our future plans will include this cours.
Great morning with Son-in-law
We teed off a little before 8 am and the round took 4.5 hours. The course gets a lot of play but the conditions were better than average.
I ran out of sand to fill divots with after about 12 holes...The group in front of us didn't fill a divot the entire round.
Greens rolled very nicely with lots of slope.
The course is quite enjoyable...you will not hit the same shot twice.
One of the best
Always an enjoyable round at dubsdread. As long as you can avoid playing in the middle of the day on the weekend, pace of play is not a problem. Great layout and friendly staff - the starter who is always working is phenomenal.
Recently aerated but not that bad. Be aware of other golfers balls
It’s currently cheaper for being aerated thought it didn’t look that bad on the green. The course is narrow and very likely for a slice to end up on another hole. The carts come with monitors giving you a distance to the hole and connecting your phone via Bluetooth. Will play this course again next time I visit
HOME SWEET HOME
This course reminded me a course from back home. Really enjoyed it.
They punched the greens other than that. Love that corse
