About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Tight fairways but excellent shape
This course has narrow fairways and on some holes the rough is narrow too. Greens, tees & fairways excellent shape. 2nd time playing and the staff is always helpful. This is a regular stop for my wife and I.
Target golf
Snagged a hot deal for $20 and it was the right price. Tees and fairways were good. Rough was nice and thick. The greens however had not recovered yet from aerification and were quite slow and a little bumpy. I would play again as the layout is wonderful and a good challenge. 4/5 stars due to the greens.
Pleasantly Surprised
I had heard mixed reviews of this course, but I thought the course was in great shape and a good value for the money. The gentleman who was behind the desk was very helpful and friendly - explaining everything and giving helpful hints about the course. The GPS app installed in each of the carts was also quite helpful; nice to not have to use my smart phone with a golf course app. About the only thing I can find fault with was the condition of many of the bunkers - lacking sand and somewhat hardpan. But the fairways and greens were in great shape.
Nice course
Prolly one of the best public courses in downtown Orlando area!! A must play!! Good restaurant to enjoy food afterwards!!! Awesome course!! Whole 3 needs some work but rest of course is awesome!!
Best conditions in Orlando at this price
Props to the grounds crew, this course has the best conditions from tee to green. I’ve played a lot of golf this summer in Orlando and Dubdread has by far the best conditions with the exception of a very few more expensive courses. Greens are mint.

Great course!
Excellent course with some tight Fairways. Greens rolled true and plenty of water to navigate. Overall fantastic value for the price.
