About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Great place
Started playing there over 30 years ago. It was my favorite course then and still one of my favorites.
Great Course
Enjoyed playing this course. Though the greens were aerated they were in good condition. Highly recommended!
Poorly managed from starter
Was told to start off on back 9 due to youth league, understandable, went to play front 9 and was loaded with 4 somes. Ranger recommended playing the back nine again. Very frustrating love Dubsdred
Solid
New to Orlando, liquified butter. This place is sick, solid history and TOUGH. Prepare to be humbled
Course was good, heat index almost unbearable
108 heat index made things interesting but enjoyed our first round at Dubsdread .
Always a great experience
I love everything about Dubs. Best greens for the money in Orlando. Friendly staff. When the new driving range opens early September) it will be way better than any public course option within 30 mins if downtown.
Dubs is Awesome
This is a must play course. They do a great job of keeping the conditions looking good even though it gets a lot of play. The range is currently closed for an extensive remodel, but the putting green is fantastic so keep that in mind. We enjoy it every time we get a chance to play Dubsdread. Very interesting layout, and the staff is always friendly. Make time to go grab a bite to eat at the Tap Room - very good.
Great vakue
let me state up front - i loved pretty much everything about Dubsdread. 100 year old course, they allow walking, starter put me out early with another gentleman. With no one in front of us, and the short walks from green to tee that are pretty much the norm for an older course, we finished 18 in under 2 hours (that is not a typo).
Greens are small and in very good condition. Fairways were good and staff was great. 10th hole has some construction, so the tee box is moved forward, making it a par 3 instead of a par 4. Not a big deal. Course is a par 70 (reallly 69 with the forward tee on 10). Good chance to shoot your age,
Great Course
The Only thing that is of concern me, is the vegetation, (wild vines) that are going to take over the natural look of the surrounding Woods.
Entitled kids
Followed three kids on one golf cart with two golf bags. They would sit in the middle of the fairway and talk for about five minutes and then they would run all over the place. When they got to the green, they would throw their clubs around. When I approach them about golf etiquette, they got mad. I spoke to the clubhouse about it and they said they knew about the three kids on one golf cart. They were nice enough to give me a rain check for nine holes. And then on the back nine the same three kids proceeded to pass us while the course was full.
