About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Enjoyed
First time playing here. Very nice course, great greens! Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will return.
Slow Play but great course
I’ve played this this course at least 50 times under different conditions. I always enjoy coming here. This course is always fun to play and with the great staff, Dubsdread rarely disappoints.
It’s a gem in the middle of the City and it’s value is hard to beat. My only complaint is that the slow play is a constant issue.
I highly recommend this course and always stop in the restaurant for burgers and brew! They never disappoint!
Great old course, fine shape.
Played this course a few times, always enjoy coming to Dubsdread. Conditions are good, greens are fast,, pace was great, played in 3 1/2 hrs, all makes for a fun day of golf enjoyment. Keep up the good work.

Nice course
The fairways were beautiful. This course is deceptively difficult.
The greens were just sanded, but still ran quick. Very well maintained course tucked in Winter Park. First time playing, but it won’t be my last.
Dubs is always at least Good
The fact that they can keep Dubsdread at such a high quality knowing that it gets wall to wall tee times daily is pretty impressive. There are always spots that need attention, but given the monumental task at hand if you're complaining about that than you are honestly the problem.
The front 9 is the difficult 9 and if you can make that loop around par the back 9 is where all the birdies reside.
The practice facilities are decent. I hate hitting off mats (that said they have the nice lush matts to protect your joints), the chipping area is too small, but the putting green is great.
Tougher courses in Orlando
I’ve played at a couple different Orlando area courses and would definitely rank Dubsdread as one of my preferred courses now. First time playing here but I was impressed with the quality of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens, as well as the lay out/challenge of the course. Looking forward to playing here again.
Great value
got a hot deal to play here. $32 and the greens were as good as any in orlando. Fun layout, great holes, great greens. The carts has GPS and bluetooth speaker. Kudos to the starter Bill, what a nice guy who spoke to us and helped us along the day.
I would reccomend playing here especially if you find a hot deal and pay $32 as my group did.
Nice old municipal course
The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Best we have seen.
