About
Rancho Solano Golf Course sits midway between San Francisco and Sacramento, a location that makes it easily accessible from all the cities in the Bay Area. The course sprawls across hilly terrain, providing the layout with elevated tees and dramatically undulating greens. It is a tough course to walk but it's possible. Sparkling lakes dot the hills, coming into play on a few holes. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with. The expansive greens offer some room for error but pin placement is still important. The first three holes on the back nine are some of Rancho Solano Golf Course's most challenging, especially the par-4 11th hole. Club selection is the key to this hole or you might lose your ball to the lake and even once you do seemingly reach safety, there are still bunkers backing the large green.

Amazing clubhouse
I have to say I am blown away at the staff at the clubhouse. I feel there is a good vibe at this facility and the employees prove it. Everyone had a smile on their face, people were opening doors for patrons, and the staff was very welcoming and gave me a run down of the range, practicing area, and restraunt. You can tell when you walk in they value you as a customer and make you feel like you are a member of the club immediately. I'll be going back.
Best course in Solano County
Rancho is an excellent course with challenging large and fast greens. The course drains well so it’s perfect in the winter. By far the best course in Solano County.

Great layout, greens were in fantastic shape even with recent aeration. Always look forward to playing here.

A very nice course in Solano
This course is beautiful, it was perfectly maintained. I love playing this course.
Can be very busy
Got mixed in with a four man tournament unknowing there was a tournament going and my group was just a two som and we got in the middle of a big party, so people two groups behind were complaining that it was slow and they got into shouting contests and yelling at each other kind of threats like meet us at the parking lott so they can fight or watever bunch of adults acting like entitled kids even though we were playing as fast as possible.
I prefer a more calming atmosphere when golfing and this place is overpriced
