Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Great course and is very underrated.
I wish the city would allow water to flow through the course. It would totally make it a totally different course with new challenges and new scenery. Great local course I'm proud to call my home course.
Horrible experience
The golf carts were horrible. The displays were awesome, but getting them to work properly was incredibly difficult which was aggravating and frustrating to say the least. All of the tea boxes had gravel on them. Not sand gravel. It was difficult at times to figure out where the next hole was, as the signage was not sufficient, especially when you have two holes in the same area and you can’t figure out which one is which. By about the 14th hole all of us were just wishing we were done so we could go home. That’s how bad it was. But I will say the staff was incredible.
Saturday Pace
Nice pace for a Saturday, tee time at 9:24am got off right on time, played in about 4 1/2 hours.
They charged me $4.00 extra to ride alone as a single player even though the other single that played with us used a push cart. Kinda lame.

the course is a little different with some holes playing around the river bed. Overall not bad though. Had fun, played in some rain which made things a bit muddy. Met some nice people. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Club rentals a bit on the rough side. Good value and I would play again
Great value for money and interesting course
WOW what a great wee gem of a course to find. The gentleman behind counter very friendly. The course is challenging but fun. Bring lots of balls if not aren’t consistently straight. Some tough dog legs that go up to elevated greens but you can par (if in the right place). Would definitely play again great value for money. Thanks for a great day as pace of play was excellent no waiting until the 18th hole.
