About
Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Golfer Reviews
First time to play course.
Greens are in fantastic shape! Course layout is different due to the river. I enjoyed the layout. Tough par 3’s. Very slow pace of play. Took 5.5 hours to play on a Sat. I won’t be back.
Riverview Golf - Bargin & Tough Course
The staff are super friendly & accommodating. The practice putting area is fantastic. The course is tough because most of the fairways run parallel to others, so not a lot of room side to side. The greens are in excellent condition.
Get in early or expect a slow round..
We teed off at 7:45am on schedule. After the first 2 holes, we were waiting on the groups in front of us and the group behind us started to hit into us. It’s very unfortunate that the close tee times created this hazard.
Good Value
Last time I played this course was 20+ years ago so I played here with an open mind and I was impressed. I live close but never desired to play here due to negative reviews in the past but as of lately the reviews have been more positive and I agree. Conditions are good (especially the greens). Pace of play is average (Just under 4.5hrs for a Sunday).
I get that it can be quirky but that’s what makes it fun and unique. Hit the ball straight and you’ll be content with your round.
Greens in very fine condition
A testing course, with excellent condition greens. Well worth the time.
Unnatural course layout
The layout made based crossing the same river over and again, and the scenery wasn't good and it wasn't fun.
Challenging, but fun course
I enjoyed river view golf course, for the price, it is very acceptable. It is a relatively challenging course with the river in play on a lot of holes.
Fun for a beginner
Challenging for a new golfer, I like that. It’s an affordable course with nice greens.
Very challenging
Fun and challenging course. Best practice green I have ever seen. Will definitely be playing there again next time I’m in town. The snack bar/ grill had fantastic breakfast and lunch.
Tough Course
First time playing this course and might be my last. The greens were in great condition but that was a bit overshadowed by the surrounding area of the course.
