Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

River View
While the course was not particularly long, it was very challenging.
The course fairways were narrow and very hilly with a number of elevated greens. For this reason, the key to scoring well was accuracy. While the course conditions in general were good, the condition of the greens was excellent.
Hole 13 Restored
I am so pleased of the restored hole number 13. It was destroyed in the last winter flood and its par 5 was reduced to par 3. Now it come back to complete par 5 !!!
fun place to play!
Great value for Nice maintenance and interesting layout.
The course is in good shape, particularly the greens. Pace of play was fairly slow on a Friday, particularly starting at the 10th tee, where 2 groups suddenly jumped in and began their rounds. Overall an enjoyable course and good value.
Not so great experience
My wife didn't want to play so she ended up being a rider. The cashier charged us both for a round golf anyway. Anywhere ....ANYWHERE else has always been lenient and understanding.
So, for a $75 round of golf, I expect the tee times to be spread out to keep the flow smooth, it wasn't! golfers were playing through and cutting in. People were wearing tee shirts and playing music and there were kids riding electri bicycles on the fairways.
It was a good time
We got stuck behind a group of 5 taking their sweet time throughout the course which took us way longer to finish 18. But overall the course is worth it’s money, we had a good time, would definitely play here again.
