Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Unique Course
Course conditions were great and staff were super friendly. If you are open to a slightly more unique style of play this place is affordable and there’s clearly a lot of care for this place. Greens were great, but mostly in awkward places so don’t expect an amazing score. Carts have a great GPS and practice facility’s are pretty nice. Not a ton of driving range spots available but mats are well maintained and some have tees. Will for sure be coming back on a more regular basis.
Very slow on the front nine, but then picked up.
Unique course.
Not a beginners course!
5 hours behind beginners who seem never to have been on a golf course before.
The Marshall eventually spoke to them and got them to move a little faster. But the course should not let absolute beginners play here.
River View is not possible for multiple beginner golfers hitting or shanking continuously for 50 yards or so, or play along the sand in the river bed.!! Ridiculous!. Go to Newport Beach and play the first 9 - or any other short par 3 courses locally.
Apart from frustration, the course is in good condition at present, much better than in 2021.
Great Course for the Money
The lay out can be a bit confusing. The course is very well manicured. A lot of long holes. Course is challenging. Great course for the money. I will be back!!

Good course very slow pace played sunday
Played Sunday around 10ish and didn’t finish til 3. Very slow pace maybe it’s better on other days. Conditions decent fairways good as well. Greens most of them were nice
