Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Not worth it
Hit a perfect drive lands in a dirt patch in the “fairway”.
Roll a perfect put it bounces all the way by the hole.
Tee boxes crap.
Fairways are crap.
Greens CRAP.
Might as well go hit around your local park. This place is way way way to expensive for the course conditions to be this poor.

Short but challenging course
Course is perfect has good mix of par 3s 4s and 5s. Change of direction of layout need to be strategic with shot making every hole.
Great value
Nice course for the money. Played a little slow for a Monday but prob just the group in front of us. Some challenging holes which makes for some decision golf. And available tee times. 😁
Crazy layout
Had 4 balls come at us from all different directions. Taking your life in your hands out there. Greens were good. Tee boxes aren’t really tee boxes more like gravel with some little patches of green stuff. Needs some TLC and more nets…
Hit it straight
Nice course. Have to be accurate. It’s an inexpensive course so remember some people are just getting started. Be patient. I love this course as a betting course. Long hitters can get crushed here by shorter straighter players. Lots of birdie ops and fun to play.

My son and I played. It was a really beautiful. The fairways were green. The greens were in good condition.
If you hit in the sand it’s a free drop!

Solid 4*. For the money, it gets the job done.
Place can't be beat for the money in Orange County for 18 holes. This is the closest course to my house with affordable golf, and I don't mind it. There is some dicey spots, but overall you won't be disappointed. Not the worst, but don't expect the conditions/amenities of a course with $100 rates!
Awesome course for value
Trickier than you’d expect, elevation changes with angulating greens!! Done with the 18 in 3hr 15min playing with 1 other and was behind a pretty decent 4some! Great times!
