Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Foggy Conditions
Although we played 9 holes in the fog...the round was enjoyable and not much of a delay. Look forward to another round minus the fog.
Though layout
Fairways where mediocre... greaans were nice and soft.. well maintained... layout was brutal..lol.. long and challenging.. definitely would play here again just for the challenge purpose and price
Entertaining and challenging
A great course for game improvement from beginner to intermediate level. The 18-hole putting green is terrific. Plenty of challenging aspects to this course. The greens are not ridiculously fast like some other local courses. A fine round.

Literally the Worst Course I Ever Played
Slow, beat up fairways, unkept waste bunkers or sand pits. Just terrible. Would never play here again.
Did not enjoy the course lay out. The picture they advertised was hole 1 which was prob one of the only holes with a playable fairway. Everything else was just playing around water and sand. Not a course I would revisit unfortunately. Staff was really nice. They didn’t design the course so I feel bad leaving this review but I didn’t enjoy the course at all.
Save your money
This was by far the worst golf course I have ever played. The fairways were too narrow. There were too many hazards. Almost all the holes are on slopes and the landscaping is not well kept. The sand traps where the dried up river is make it extremely difficult to get through the hole. Everyone in the 4 some was disappointed and felt it was a waste of a golf outing. Pick a different course.
