Hole 3 Photo submitted by ashergolf on 02/12/2024
Bad luck.
We gave up on hole 15 after 4 hours &15 minutes. When riding back we saw the culprits….. Foursome on 18 and the one guy was using his range finder from about 40 yards out. #goodtimes. Guess we picked a bad day. Everything else here is top notch from hitting bays to beverage cart.
Great work
You have made this honestly my favorite course in clermont…. Bye bye Legends and Kings Ridge! Clermont National is the spot!
Very nice course
Course layout is very challenging. Some blind shots to the pin made hard to determine which club to use. We had no one pushing us no one waiting to tee off. We enjoyed our round and would play there again next when we return.
wish it was less costly to play - I love it !!!
I knew when I heard it was reopening ; the price had to go up. Without doubt my favorite layout of any course I have ever played. & I have played over 350 different courses. Since I am a duffer with 18 handicap , I personally was just as happy with the old Sanctuary Ridge for $30... YET I am 1 million % happy it has reopened even if I can only afford to play it once a winter. It's not a good course - it's not a great course. IT IS THE VERY BEST COURSE
Piece of plate was not very good. No martial in the course. No beverage cart. It would’ve been nice to have a drink. Other than that it was great. Will return.
Basically was terrible, but enjoyed the course beverage card on the car which would’ve been nice
Better than Before!
I’ve played this course so many times in the past when it was called Sanctuary Ridge, and now that it’s back, it’s so much better than before. Clermont National is a gem! The track tracer range and cool lounge scenery is just the start. About the course itself…the fairways were great. They were even fully grown in to where there wasn’t a tight lie nowhere on the fairways. The greens were in great shape too. I’m so glad this course is back open because the layout is the funnest in all of Central Florida. The extreme elevation changes on just about every hole reminds me so much of the courses I love playing on back home in North Carolina. The pace of play was terrible, but more so because of the group in front of us. I kind of expected it though, teeing off at 9:40. Never teeing off that late again. I’ll definitely be back.
What a delightful experience
Not sure how bad the conditions were before the renovations but this is a true hidden gem with fast greens that roll true and a gloriously scenic backdrop on the hilliest course in central Florida. I recommend checking out all the NEW amenities offered here. Only issue was the beverage cart broke down and we only saw the beverage attendant once on hole 4 before this happened. We did see the abandoned cart on 14 when we got to the back 9 but assume they only have the one cart and sent the beverage girl home after the malfunction. Eddies that still a fun and well groomed track to consider
Renovation is outstanding!
Course was in excellent shape. Renovations were better than expected. Very slow play though which was disappointing.
