Pace of play is a problem
5 and half hours for a early morning weekend round. Next to 0 amenities on the course. Fun layout and in good condition, but won’t be back.
Still has a lot of room for improvement
It’s alive again and I guess that’s most important. Certainly not special. Same course in average condition. That’s about it. Playable. Sow greens, be careful they didnt mention on golf now that the course was punched.
CALL BEFORE YOU GO
Had a foursome go out - okay with the fee of 80+ because it’s a great course layout and different than your normal central Florida courses due to elevation. When we got out there, The greens were aerated - sandy everywhere. The whole course was punched. Tee box, green, fairway. Everything. There IS NO Communication of this like every other course does on GolfNow - so when I called the pro-shop because it was a monsoon at end, the guy didn’t care - didn’t say he would at least send the message to supervisor. Just didn’t say anything. Carts don’t have GPS, but the track man range and clubhouse are phenomenal. Call before you go.
Fun and challenging course
I played this course on Mother’s Day and it played way faster than I think it would have on any other day.
The course layout is very similar to those that I grew up on in Ohio, very hilly which is unlike many in Florida. The layout was sometimes was challenging to decipher but I had a member to help with the first 9, the back was a bit tough without someone to give you pointers and score card has no layout of homes and there is not GPS on the cart to give you aim points and yardage.
The greens had just been punched recently which was made aware at the booking which kind of sucks but were still playable.
Overall the course was nice and I enjoyed playing it., I definitely want to play it again.
Back to an old friend
It has been at least 15 years since last playing here. I forgot how wonderful the course was from elevation changes to layout. The only criticism is the greens were incredibly slow compared with other courses we play. Very difficult to get the speed correct. We will be back!
Over priced and slow
Expect to be out there for 5-6 hours. Expect to be treated rudely by staff. Expect to over pay for a course that is , at best, average . Expect the range to be nothing but a teen scene or children’s birthday parties. Expect no bathrooms on back nine. Expect an odd course layout. If that appeals to you, you’ll love it. If not, skip the overpriced aggravation.
Fun and Challenging
Great conditions and plenty of elevation changes to challenge your game. Greens were fast and challenging with undulating breaks.
Decent, but overpriced
You can tell this course has been in rough shape and they're trying to bring it back. Solid layout with good potential. Not in great shape, but the lack of rain is a factor. Definitely overpriced for the condition it's currently in. Save your money or go play the Orange County National courses.
Superior
Fast greens that roll true, and roll out. May have to make some longer comebackers.
Very diverse layout with elevation changes and dog legs.
Trackman driving range (a little pricey).
Great central Florida value
Best value in Orlando area we found . Who knew there are rolling hills on a golf course in Florida :)
