Unfortunatel
No cart girl nowhere in sight. If you need one let me know I have a 17 yr old daughter that is looking. Only complaint about the course is 100 dollar round for greens that had just been sanded is very disappointing. Just be honest it goes a lot farther.
What a difference
We played this course a few times as Sanctuary Ridge... and it was always in terrible shape but the greens were ok, and the layout fun. A lot of Elevation Changes.
Now as Clermont National, it is in very good shape, the people are very friendly, and the 19th hole is better than anywhere around. Music, The Barn trackman driving range, Bean Bag Tossing Game (The real name is "Inappropriate language, lol) games. It is a great place to hangout. Will go back! Highly recommend
Times ran half hour let and the starter still allowed "breakfast ball" from the first tee. 4hours 40 to get round and not a Marshall on site-total joke. Obvious play up hole at 10 and nobody doing it.
Will never go back!!
Good value
Course conditions were good. Greens run well and true. Tees are in ok condition ( not the most flat but have grass). Green side bunkers are well maintained and very playable. Course offers a good range of distances for all players. Only detail that could be worked on are the waste bunkers, but they appear to be storm runoff areas which would be extremely difficult to maintain at a high level.
Just So So
First off not at all the typical Florida course with lots of hillside lies and elevation changes, far more doglegs than usual as well. Conditions were Meh, not special and not terrible, the course advertises $3million in recent renovations but it's difficult to see where the money went.
My wife was disturbed to find no restroom facilities on the back nine, for that alone she will never play again.
Fun golf course
I played Clermont National for the first time and didn't know what to expect. It's a very hilly course, some holes were a challenge, which made the round of golf fun. It was in excellent condition, best of any course I have played in central Florida this winter. The greens were in great shape. I will definitely be back.
Quirky, Challenging and over priced
The course appears to have been renovated and some of the holes are goofy. Lots of uneven lies. There are large areas that at first appear to be waste bunkers but then appear to be drainage collection areas. The greens and fairways are in good condition. The staff in general were nice. However i accidentally left my score card holder in the men’s room in there restaurant and no one answered the phone or returned the message I left.
This a $75 course at best.
Great views 👏
Great lay out. 4 stays due probably dormant grass made it a little scruffy. Bet awesome in the sping.
Lots of Elevation Changes
Hilly conditions made for an interesting round. Fun to play a course that was not typical Florida flat, sand, water. We were in Florida for a month and played it 3 times, as it was a course we would choose to bring friends who were visiting.
Clermont National
Not your typical Florida golf. We were surprised by the changing elevations throughout the course. Very good conditions and a very interesting layout. We'll book it again next year!
I’ll be back
Pretty great course. Interesting elevation changes and views while playing you don’t get at ment other courses in Florida. Cant beat the amenities, friendly staff and good food/drinks. Only issue for us was pace of play which seems to be the norm in the area currently. Overall fun track, I’ll be back.
Worth a Try
The course had nice elevation and layout. The only issue was speed of the greens -- very slow. Maybe the drought had something to do with it.
The View restaurant was very nice but as of 4:30 PM they were still serving the food that had been sitting out since lunch so I passed and got a burger, which was good.
The cart girl was super cool.
Gem in the middle of the state
When you think of Florida golf, you expect flat or a slight rise or fall…not here. With steep drops of over 40 ft , to up hill holes of 50-75 ft.
Reminds me of western North Carolina golf. It’s a course that’s completely different than the normal Florida courses. It’s worth the play.
