Chicopee Woods Golf Course - Village Nine
About
Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a public, 27-hole layout in Gainesville. The course is tucked amongst the Appalachian foothills, giving it a scenic terrain of rolling hills. The holes are divided into three nines: the Village, the Mill, and the School, that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Five sets of tees provide even more variety. The Village nine is the longest of the three and it's also the driest. There is only a small lake beside the second hole. That doesn't mean the golf course isn't challenging though, you'll still face several strategically placed bunkers. There are a few scattered trees but the course is mostly open and offers some room for error. In addition to the 27 holes, Chicopee Woods G.C. also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Golfer Reviews
Over booked
Reached 14th hole and 16 players playing or waiting to play. 15,16, 17 and 18 all had 12 players on each hole. This course was way over booked. Very unhappy.

DO NOT BOOK WITH JASON COCHRAN
This morning my husband showed up for 9 am private lesson with Jason Cochran and was told by Jason’s colleague that he was out sick. All the colleague said was, “sorry” and kept it moving. Jason never contacted my husband and still has not.
Is this how you run your business?

Challenging but not too tough
Nice course. Greens are in good shape. Challenging hills but not overly tough. Slower pace than preferred 2.5 hours for nine holes.

Very Slow Pacing
Course is ok for the cost. It is not very difficult. The group in front of us, though, proceeded to play a 5:15 round and shot from the longer tees.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing Chicopee Woods Golf Course - School Nine.

Nice course if you have 5 hours to kill
RANGER nowhere in sight. The course was in really good condition and the greens were great, but it was ruined by the 5 hour pace. We waited on every single hole. We played another course the week before and played in 3:30. This round was a full 90 minutes longer. Horrible experience, especially in 90+ degree heat.
