Best greens I have played in a while. Very receptive when hitting irons and quick when putting: 17 is a grown mans par 5 get there in two and you’ve done something. Can’t wait to go back

What can I say- all Excellent. Check in, carts, and fast carts to keep the gang moving. Course conditions excellent. Rolling hills but not enough to aggravate a bum ankle. Not a bad hole on the course. Beautiful natural setting (3 deer on the 1st hole) without houses. Worth the one hour drive. Would recommend. Will play again.

It is the most amazing place to play. Favorite course ever. If you like playing in secluded places away from houses it is perfect.

Excellent course. Beautiful day. My buddy and I drove an hour to play this course and it did not disappoint.

Fairways were immaculate and the layout was wonderful. The greens were very fast, but were able to hold the ball and they putted true.

We will definitely be back! The course staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did take a couple of jabs at us about our Clemson attire, but it was all in fun.

Make time to play this course, you will not be disappointed.

Took a day road trip to play golf, it was a beautiful golf course. 1st time playing the course, I played alone missed some shots by not knowing where to hit the ball, a number of blind shots and native grass will eat the golf ball. I wll try to play again, I enjoyed the day.

Wow. When we arrived we were greeted by some of the locals, Nice guys relaxing on the patio after their round. They told us the story of the course and concluded that they were “the benefactors“ of the creator’s vision to carve out this beautiful course in the hills and fields just up the road from Hartwell Georgia. The driving range was set up the way I like it with specific targets at various distances and the putting green was in perfect shape. We took off on number one and the rest of the route we barely saw another golfer. We certainly didn’t see another structure until we got back to number nine and the clubhouse. Landscape, the beautiful card to rain and the vistas out over the Hills or simply breathtaking . After some snacks at the adorable little shack overlooking the putting green we took off on the back nine. The elevation changes were stunning at times from the tees to the par three‘s The course was both fair and challenging, a rare combination. I played one up from the tips and it ran about 6400 yards. It felt just right. It was worth every minute of the hour and a half drive from my house. I jokingly asked my wife if we could look for a house in the vicinity of the course, maybe on lake Hartwell. If we do that I’m certainly going to go back and find those nice guy who greeted us at the beginning. They seem to be a lot of fun and we’re rightfully proud of their hidden gem

The course condition was great...it’s always been good but it’s the best I’ve seen it. The fact that they had a drink cart on the course on a slow very hot weekday afternoon was a real plus....not many courses will do that. I did not like being bombarded with commercials on the nav system...seemed like every time I looked at the screen to get a distance i was seeing a commercial...annoying!! The big downside is that non members can’t use the restaurant or bar after a “Hot” day on the course...they can sit outside in the heat but not inside...make one feel like second class!!

The was a birthday weekend round and my brother and I decided that we would play only the top 25 courses in Georgia and this far Cateechee is the Best. Your staff was friendly and the cart guys were great at service. Thank you and I will be back to play again.

Course is a tad out of way from Athens but worth every second and penny of the drive. Very challenging plays like a links style course. Highly recommend
