For 70 dollars the green was just punched. Putting was a nightmare. Other than that, course was nice. The course to me is worth about 45 dollars.

i have tried for over one month to get a refund/credit. my group was rained out on this date due to heavy thunderstorms in the area the course shut down. 2 of my foursome have been credited and i cannot seem to get a response. please help.

Challenging course with beautiful scenery, no homesites on the course, I’d play it again in a heartbeat.

Justin in pro shop was great. Type that will do anything to make your visit better. Course is usually in very good shape, greens are excellent speed. Only drawback is expense. Can’t charge Atlanta prices in Hartwell, Ga.

Another great day at Cateechee. Course is always in great shape. Greens were fast today! Don’t get above the ball or you’ll guarantee a 3 putt.

Although I can be a serious golfer, I love to play a course that has the level of aesthetic beauty that distracts me from the quality of my play. Other than the clubhouse and a crumbling barn off one of the fairways on the front nine, I didn't spot another man-made structure. Sweeping, undulating fairways combined with impeccably kept bunkers, greens, and fringes made for one of the most enjoyable rounds I have experienced in quite a while. If Twain had played this one, he wouldn't have considered golf a walk in the woods ruined.

We were rained out after for holes! Golfnow folks refuse to respond for a credit or rain check. I would be very careful with these folks! Cateechee was great for the four hole we saw. Will go back for sure!

Course was in excellent shape as always.

Selling lots on #10 and making it a par 3? I'd move the tee back a little farther to make it play more than 150 yards downhill.

Also build another tee on #17 and make it a par 6 to keep the course a par 72.

Great course however the course shut down after we had played four holes due to heavy rains and storms that came up. I would like to get a refund and reschedule another time to go and play the course. Great course for four holes!

This was the first time I have played Cateechee in several years. I now remember why I love the course and fun and challenging layout. I drove an hour and a half to play Cateechee and it was well worth the drive and the time.

The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. I love how the range balls and practice area balls are included in the greens fee price. The range and practice area is very nice and has everything you need to practice and work on your game. All the carts have GPS which is a huge help and benefit since there are many blind shots and challenging holes.

The course and surrounding area (especially driving between holes) is beautiful. The course routing takes you through hills, valleys, through woods, over streams, etc.

The greens were very nice (they had been airaited a couple weeks ago, but they are filling in very nicely. The greens were very fast. Also, the greens have tons of slopes, hills, undulations and subtle breaks. Overall, the greens are in fantastic condition and very challenging.

One of the top golf courses in the area and hard to beat. I highly recommend Cateechee.

I played here for the second time this spring. The course routing is beautiful, through hills and valleys with extreme elevations changes. The tees and fairways are growing in nicely though the greens were recently punched and it did affect putting somewhat. I got a great price on a hot deal through Golfnow but it appeared that they were still charging $70.00 for tee times and that's too much when they greens have been recently aerated. I've found that very few courses are willing to drop their rates for the few weeks each year that they aerate the course. When this course gets through the spring it will be worth every penny of the green fee. One covid-19 note: They put plastic rings in all of the cups so the balls don't fall all the way to the bottom of the cup. That way nobody has to touch the flagstick to remove their ball. The rings they use are too tall, almost to the level of the rim of the cup, keeping some putts out that would have fallen in. I understand the necessity of the ring during the pandemic but other courses I've played this spring have managed to use smaller devices which serve the same purpose but don't adversely affect your putts. Not a big deal but could be done better. Overall I love this course and the staff.

Great layout and good condition. I was impressed with the greens. Rolling 10.5 and smooth. Great condition.

I wish this course wasnt 90 minutes away. I'd play more often. Greens are in awesome condition and quite challenging. Beautiful course. Keep up the good work

Excellent. Greens in excel shape. F/W is coming in nicely.

One of the top clubs in the area-hard to beat. 4 hr round for threesome.

They have taken good precaution for the COVID-19.

Only complaint-2nd time in a row they were out of chili for the hot dogs at the turn!

Drove an hour and a half to play this course and it was well worth it. The carts have GPS the course is absolutely beautiful and the greens are immaculate and extremely tough.I highly recommend this course.

Played 18 with my soon. All around super golf course like usual. 10 is now a part three about 135 from blues. Better hole! Look to be selling home lots above that hole. Not sure. Rest is pure golf. Go play!
