Cateechee

This was the first time I have played Cateechee in several years. I now remember why I love the course and fun and challenging layout. I drove an hour and a half to play Cateechee and it was well worth the drive and the time.

The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. I love how the range balls and practice area balls are included in the greens fee price. The range and practice area is very nice and has everything you need to practice and work on your game. All the carts have GPS which is a huge help and benefit since there are many blind shots and challenging holes.

The course and surrounding area (especially driving between holes) is beautiful. The course routing takes you through hills, valleys, through woods, over streams, etc.

The greens were very nice (they had been airaited a couple weeks ago, but they are filling in very nicely. The greens were very fast. Also, the greens have tons of slopes, hills, undulations and subtle breaks. Overall, the greens are in fantastic condition and very challenging.

One of the top golf courses in the area and hard to beat. I highly recommend Cateechee.

I played here for the second time this spring. The course routing is beautiful, through hills and valleys with extreme elevations changes. The tees and fairways are growing in nicely though the greens were recently punched and it did affect putting somewhat. I got a great price on a hot deal through Golfnow but it appeared that they were still charging $70.00 for tee times and that's too much when they greens have been recently aerated. I've found that very few courses are willing to drop their rates for the few weeks each year that they aerate the course. When this course gets through the spring it will be worth every penny of the green fee. One covid-19 note: They put plastic rings in all of the cups so the balls don't fall all the way to the bottom of the cup. That way nobody has to touch the flagstick to remove their ball. The rings they use are too tall, almost to the level of the rim of the cup, keeping some putts out that would have fallen in. I understand the necessity of the ring during the pandemic but other courses I've played this spring have managed to use smaller devices which serve the same purpose but don't adversely affect your putts. Not a big deal but could be done better. Overall I love this course and the staff.

Great layout and good condition. I was impressed with the greens. Rolling 10.5 and smooth. Great condition.

I wish this course wasnt 90 minutes away. I'd play more often. Greens are in awesome condition and quite challenging. Beautiful course. Keep up the good work

Excellent. Greens in excel shape. F/W is coming in nicely.

One of the top clubs in the area-hard to beat. 4 hr round for threesome.

They have taken good precaution for the COVID-19.

Only complaint-2nd time in a row they were out of chili for the hot dogs at the turn!

Will come back.

Drove an hour and a half to play this course and it was well worth it. The carts have GPS the course is absolutely beautiful and the greens are immaculate and extremely tough.I highly recommend this course.

Played 18 with my soon. All around super golf course like usual. 10 is now a part three about 135 from blues. Better hole! Look to be selling home lots above that hole. Not sure. Rest is pure golf. Go play!

This course is well kept, staff are friendly, pace of play is usually fast. I used a monthly golfpass round so played for essentially free. Great practice facility. Range is free with round of golf. They made a change to the course recently that was negative. The owner decided to developed condos on the 10th fairway and changed a long and challenging par 4 into a short par 3. This was the number one handicap hole. I was my least favorite hold on the course but still hated to see them mess up the hole.

Awesome course!! Staff was friendly the people at the course was also friendly. Tha layout was good, the green was rolling in on pace and the fairway was in top condition. If I had to say one thing negative is that 10 hole was on construction

If you can putt fast true Greens this is the course for you. I don’t but still enjoyed the day with Southern Hospitality from staff all the way to members who welcomed us with smiles and fun.

Tremendous layout always in fantastic condition. Clubhouse is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and professional. All the course you want off the back tees.

It was a great round pleased by the course conditions, except for the hole 10, and we were surprised by the great conditions and layout. Very challenging greens with undulations and fast with pins in locations.... they should not use ;). Great facilities with very nice people. Congrats to the team and manager!

Everything about this course is beautiful. had a great time and enjoyed my round very much.

the club house is great,all the practice area is in perfect condition.the course played a little long with all the hills and the grass a little long .no roll but can't wait to play again

Only problem with the course is the tenth hole which was apparently a great par four is now a par three due to what seems to be home sites set up on the fairway

Such a beautiful place to play and it only costed me 15$

Cateechee is a beautiful golf course I hope they don't ruin it by building on it
