The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Davis Love III, Laurel Island Links measures 7011 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 138 and a 74.8 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.
The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Greens need alot of work
Staff is super friendly, but greens are in brutal shape. They just punched but that wasn’t the issue. Just a ton of dead areas with all dirt. Fairways are good but the greens make it tough.
Aerated
The course itself was good, but I have a policy. No course gets anything higher than 2 stars, if you are charging full price and not telling people the greens were recently aerated. Now, aeration is a necessary aspect of golf to maintain green health, that was not the issue. But be forthright about and let us know when we are booking.
Greens almost back
I hadn't played here in a while since a friend played a few months ago and said the greens and overall conditions were mot good. It looks like they have addressed the problem and most of the greens have recovered and the fairways and tee boxes were great. I will put this course back on my rotation of courses.
I like this course a lot...I drive from Orange Park to play it every so often... Course was in good shape but the greens are not good... I don't like to be negative but they are losing a lot of their greens...
Goat Track
Way overpriced for the course in the worst shape in a 3 county area. Problems with payment system at registration and the turn, new person behind the counter. 2/5 Stars

Laurel Links is a great gem. The course and staff are fantastic

Greens are in rough shape. Fairways and tee boxes are okay, greens are bad.
Great time
I had a 7:30 tee time so that I could get back to family for vacation. The staff was friendly and the course was in fine shape. I enjoyed it and will be back next year when we come to the low country for vacation
Great Course. Great Value.
We had a great time playing Laurel Island Links. The course was in good condition and the staff was very friendly. It was my son's first time playing golf so I was thankful that we were not rushed. There were not any groups behind us, so the ranger allowed us to take our time. The prices at the restaurant were a bit high for lunch, but other than that everything was great.
