Laurel Island Links
About
The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Davis Love III, Laurel Island Links measures 7011 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 138 and a 74.8 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.
The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Amazing course
I love coming up here and playing. Every part is amazing. Don’t miss out
Worth the ride
It’s only a short 51 miles from my front door in Jacksonville to one of my new favorite courses.
The greens,, a little slow, but are in good shape overall as are the fairways and bunkers. Some outlining areas around a few of the greens have weeds and some bare spots. There are assorted tee boxes that offer various challenges which I liked. There are some water carry shots that get your attention. For me #6 and #18 were them.
I’m looking forward to getting back up there soon. Thanks to the Starter and Chip for being accommodating.
Great price for your money
Great place to play and course is in great shape, greens a little slow but in good shape
Getting better
These people are working on this place. Not that it needed it but they are making it better then it already is. From the first tee box to the 18 green. immaculate. Can’t wait to go back. Great staff, good eats.
A Great Day
Laurel Island Links was a total golf course that made
all our golfers day!!
From checking in, to a wonderful lunch after a great round of golf , everyone was professional and very nice.
An exceptional value for a day of golf.
Weather was perfect and can’t wait to return.
A growing favorite
Laurel Island is a beautiful, welcoming place with an interesting and enjoyable layout. Some holes are straightforward, but some are quite challenging, especially the 5 par around a large lake. The only criticism is the 3 par with a sludge bunker near a construction site. They could improve the course greatly by repairing that bunker, which has been in this horrid state for many months. There is lots of wildlife on the course, including lots of once-endangered woodstorks. We had to change tees for a great gaggle of geese with at least a dozen goslings taking over ours. There is a very good lunch room and bar in the clubhouse. Check it out!
Greens are in good shape
Pace of play excellent greens over seeded but reasonably fast. Great value for the money
Laurel links
This place is one of our favorite places to golf. The pace of play was slower then normal but only because there were golfers on every hole. Always see Gators and wild life. Staff is friendly. Course is in great shape, we can't wait to go back again. Thanks for a great day !!
Did not play - heavy rain.

Great Experience
I had 4 brothers come South for a reunion and golf. They did not bring their clubs and we had to find a course that would be able to provide 4 sets of rental clubs. Laurel Island Links was the first and only course that we needed to contact. George in the Pro Shop was extremely accommodating to our group and the hospitality extended to us was outstanding. Our first round was such a fantastic experience that we requested to play again two days later. And again we were accommodated by George and the entire staff. We also took advantage of having lunch in the restaurant which was a great experience. Even the members in the lounge were friendly and one member bought our group a drink. The course was in great shape, challenging and fun. The five of us cannot overstate the gratitude we have for the outstanding treatment we received by Laurel Island Links. If you get the chance to visit and play this outstanding facility and interact with George and the entire staff don't pass it up. Thank you.
Awesome Marsh views
Great course layout. Marsh views off second hole is one of the best.
Piece of heaven
Great ambiance, greens are good, fairwaysOK, bunkers are rough. KLots of water.
Good staff.
For $21 apiece, it is a great value.
Good day
Course was in great shape for mid march. Greens were very good.
Nice layout.
I'm sure it becomes real difficult as the wind picks up
Beautiful course, sometimes soggy
Our foursome has played Laurel Island Links twice. It is a beautiful course with most of the greens in excellent shape. The sand traps are in terrible shape, as hard as parking lots. One was filled with black sludge near a construction site. Both times have been cart path only, but the desk failed to mention it the second time we played. We stayed on the cart path when the fairways were obviously heavily water-logged, in some cases so wet we had to wade over areas to get to our balls. On one high and dry fairway we ventured out in carts, and the ranger chewed us out a bit too long, considering our apologies. The staff in general is exceptionally friendly, however, and there is a good restaurant. We will definitely go back to see if it’s always soggy and cart path only!
Overcast with a chance for birdie
Well i have been teaching my woman the game of golf for about 8 months. So far she is excited to learn and very eager to play which i got to say surprised me. We line up a tee time on I believe it was a Sunday and it was overcast had some showers at morning so I thought our game would be canceled naturally. Well it wasn't the rain a dissipated by the time it was tee time and believe it or not we were probably the only people on that golf course at day or at least it felt that way the pace of play was perfect for teaching someone it was all in all a great day for golf am I woman play the best golf she's ever played in her life on its course and I was really excited for a minute it's a challenging course but not alone chords but not too long beautiful course we love to Mark views we love that Daya Golf and forever be etched in my memory thank you Laurall Island Golf Course.
