Laurel Island Links
About
The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Hidden Gem
Located about 30 miles north of Jacksonville this is a great find for vacationing golfer. The people are friendly. The restaurant is very nice and affordable. The course was in fine shape. Fun to see 2 alligators sunning themselves at one of the numerous water holes. Only drawback was it took 4 1/2 hours to play. I recommend the course.
awesome day at Laurel links
always enjoyable look forward to playing a couple of rounds each spring
Scared for my life. :((
I'm a senior from New England, I play about 4-5 times per week. Upon putting my clubs back into my car, a person drove up wanting to park next to me. It was about 5:10 pm. The parking lot was nearly empty, with plenty of other very accessible spots available to park.
The man got out of his car, and wanted to pick a fight with me.. he demanded me to move my clubs and cart immediately. He approached me very aggressively , and quite frankly scared me a lot. My wife moved my clubs and cart. He approached me again and got into my face again. I started calling 911 and he decided to move along. For this reason I will not ever return to this area.
Treasure
Laurel Island links is a challenging layout and offers great value for the money. The staff is friendly, the course is well kept, and the holes are memorable. I always look forward to returning to Georgia for a round at the Links!
Nice course
Fairways and greens in good shape, play moved along good.No complaints would play again.
Very nice course and layout
First time here and really enjoyed the course. It was cart path only due to 20 hours of rain the previous day. Very few people on the course, so we played in approximately 3 hours. I am sure it can play harder when the fairways are dry. Will definitely be back when in the area.
Great Weather
Staff was very friendly. Always enjoy playing this course. It was more crowded than normal as the weather was too good to stay indoors.
Penna Four
Very nice Club House and ammenities, pleasant folks from all elements. Carts were clean and fully charged.
Course had damp areas and 90 degree was in effect.
Greens were slow, some were aireated.
Overall satisfied with a good day and good golf.
Pleasantly Surprised
Will play again...extremely wet...cart path only...great layout, just too wet to enjoy....
great day
What a great place to play..couldnt believe that it was as quiet as it was. .must be because of holiday..diffenlty will go back o. My next trip..thank you to such a nice staff..especially mr.alvarez
Great Surprise
Although during my stay at St Simons Island I have played most of the other courses in the area I had not yet played Laurel Island Links. My mistake! It is by far the nicest course in the Coastal Georgia area. Greens were fast, fairways well taken care of and nice and tee boxes were great. The roving marshall was extreamely friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my day and I will make it a point to play it more often. I played as a single and got behind a few forsomes so play was a little slow but that was my fault.
Great layout
Very enjoyable course to play, greens were a little slow but to be expected this time of year, they did roll true. I can't wait to play it again, friendly staff, good food, and fun track to play. I highly recommend.
Wife and I enjoyed our round of golf
Had played this course several times over the past 10 years, but hadn't played it for about two years.
Course was in very good shape. Greens were quite fast. Surprised that it wasn't more crowded on a beautiful Sunday Afternoon with temperatures in the mid 70's.
No way you could beat the superb deal offered by Golf Now.
Perfect Course in excellent condition
Enjoyed it thoroughly! Everything was wonderful-carts, greens, fairways, staff etc. There was even a refreshment cart on the course.
slow play bring dinner
we were held up on the first hole and it never ended. they need help to keep the pace of play up. We joined up with a single on the first hole, but the 4some in front were brutal. They played of the blues and should have been on the seniors. Last 6 or 7 holes might as well go home. No one can play that slow!!
It's to bad because it is a great course. Lots of interesting hole and lots to look at.
Great trac
Blue tees are challenging, 6900 yards, love the layout.
Great course.
We always enjoy playing Laurel Links...great course, friendly staff and a very nice clubhouse.
StrongRecommendation-GolfNowValue
Laurel Island Links is in tremendous condition & course has responded well from recent rain. It's much firmer & dryer than Jekyll Island courses & worth just an easy 20 minute drive from the Brunswick area for its fine lay out. Overseeding is complete & is already looking nice. Greens were smooth, true rolling at a moderate pace. The Davis Love course design is great, offering several tee choices to present a challenge to all levels of golfers. It's blend of openness & natural scenery lends itself to a wonderful experience. Club house staff was friendly. Our group booked on GolfNow took advantage of a "Hot Deal". When you can merge the GN deals with this course, it's as if they're giving golf away. Don't miss it!
GREAT COURSE ,FUN TO PLAY
THIS COURSE HAS GREAT SCENERY WITH SOME FUN AND CALLENGING HOLES, GOOD COURSE FOR THE MONEY.
