About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Get out b4 the members
Had to wait 5 minutes at every hole, after 3 hours I had to give it up. The front 9 is in great shape, hoping to go back earlier in the week.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. I’ll be back!
Passing through the front gate, you drive between most of the front and it’s a GREAT intro.
Friendly and helpful staff, the 1st is a par 5 that gets you going well.
Bunkers are well placed, clean with nice soft sand.
Not much water in play, but I did manage to find it twice.
A surprise on the back is a nice view of Stone Mountain.
I will go back…starting with Father’s Day with my sons!

Mystery keeping its luster
Mystery is one of those old school public courses that is still keeping its luster. The layout is a solid test. The greens are in good shape for a public track. The little things could be a bit better like, tee boxes, maintenance on trees, bunker consistency. Overall a treat for the money!

Good Enough
I play Mystery Valley a couple of times a year and always enjoy it. Our group hit from the yellow tees, and that was plenty of challenge for us. It seemed to me that the fairways are a little thinner than usual, but perhaps that will change with more rain and heat. The greens putt well and have held up to all the play on the course. There's not a lot of break, but don't get above the hole.

The Course was nice but the Greens are not that Good when you hit a nice shot on the Greens and they are bad it doesn’t give you a chance to score because they are patchy and bumpy I can deal with the fairways but the greens should be a plus .Take a ride to Ashton Hills in Covington Ga that’s what greens supposed to look like and they are cheaper with better greens Love the course the greens need to be worked on

Course Shape
Course was in Very good shape. We have a lot of rain lately, but course was dry. Rough is not dense so even a wayward drive, you had a decent lie for your second shot. Greens rolled true

Slow play
Group in front of us was slow and falling behind. Marshall told us they were on pace for 5 hours and that was acceptable

Charged Me $580
I really don't care how good a course is when the dude running the register charges me $580 and I have to go through a bunch of garbage with my credit card to get my $$ back.
