About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Good course
Greens and fairways are in good shape. Staff is friendly. Pace of play was great. I will be back!

The Course was nice but the Greens are not that Good when you hit a nice shot on the Greens and they are bad it doesn’t give you a chance to score because they are patchy and bumpy I can deal with the fairways but the greens should be a plus .Take a ride to Ashton Hills in Covington Ga that’s what greens supposed to look like and they are cheaper with better greens Love the course the greens need to be worked on

Course Shape
Course was in Very good shape. We have a lot of rain lately, but course was dry. Rough is not dense so even a wayward drive, you had a decent lie for your second shot. Greens rolled true

Slow play
Group in front of us was slow and falling behind. Marshall told us they were on pace for 5 hours and that was acceptable

Charged Me $580
I really don't care how good a course is when the dude running the register charges me $580 and I have to go through a bunch of garbage with my credit card to get my $$ back.

Disappointed
Not worth the price right now. People need to start raking bunkers again. It's good layout just not worth $50. Looks like greens were punched a little while ago but had not recovered yet.

Good course that will get better as it gets later in the season
This is my third time playing at MV. I loved the course when I played it previously, but this was my first time out there in 2022. The course is in good shape and the bunkers are great but there are a lot of bare tee boxes and the greens still haven’t completely grown back in from when they were punched. They are also changing the layout of some traps/greens and that grass is still dead in those spots. Finally, Unfortunately they didn’t have any coolers out on the course which was an inconvenience because it it starting to get hot again. The course is playable now but will definitely be in much better shape as the season goes on

Go somewhere else
Without notice or explanation, they shut down course at 7:30 while sun was shining. Was on hole 14 after enduring ridiculous slow pace (they do not manage this), and rudely ordered to bring carts back “right now.” No signs, no indicator on GolfNow … felt ripped off, a sentiment shared by all the others trying to finish.

Forget about it.
The condition of this course was deplorable. The tee boxes were dirt and sand, the fairways were chewed up with divots everywhere, the bunkers were unkempt and the greens, unfortunately, were just punched.
