Fairways Country Club
About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Theme Park Monstrosity
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I stepped onto this so-called golf course. Located in a trailer park, it’s like hitting golf balls in someone’s backyard! The residents seemed to enjoy making our day miserable, as they yelled and caused disruptions just for fun. And don’t even get me started on the head pro. The guy looked like he was stuck in the 70s, and his attitude was just as outdated. He snapped at us for asking simple questions and seemed more interested in displaying a short fuse that’s a danger to anyone within earshot. His unprofessional behavior included shouting at us for asking simple questions and generally acting as if he hated his job.
hat you wouldn’t wish upon your worst enemy. It’s painfully obvious that the green fees aren’t being invested in maintenance. If you value your time, money, and sanity, find any other option in Central Florida. This place has been the worst option for years.
Nonsensical Rain Check Policy
Paid for 18 holes walking, started storming after we played 2, so we left (at 5:30) nobody was in the pro shop. So I callled the next morning and the guy on the phone is telling us that someone already called and said we wanted a rain check and that we played 9 holes. He is either flat out lying or has the wrong guy. He says we won’t get a full rain check and will have to pay the difference which makes 0 sense because we only played 2 holes. Started giving me horrible attitude as well. Will never come back. Course is in absolutely horrible conditions as well. I refuse to not get a full rain check because we did not even get to play 9 holes due to weather when we paid for 18.
Fairways
Greens and fairways in very poor condition. Also crab grass all over.
Never again!
Played here before, but this is the last time. It has always been an issue trying to get into the golf course cause it is a gated community. My tee time was at 9am, but sat at the gate trying to get buzzed in for 20mins. The callbox just kept on ringing because nobody at the clubhouse answered. Once we arrived to check-in I told the clubhouse that the reservation said for us to start at hole 18 which this course has been doing for a while now. He then told us I don't know why they told you to start on the 18th hole. Maybe shouldn't be running things if you don't know what is posted for your course on the Golfnow website. So we proceed to go to the 1st teebox. The starter then let a group of 4 go in front of us just because they arrived early eventhough their tee time was clearly after mine. We are a group of 2 with a golf cart, the group of 4 not only hit multiple balls, but their entire group was walking. We ended up leaving and didn't tee off due to us not being able to start on the hole that Golfnow said and the pure fact that the starter would let a walking group of 4 start before us eventhough it was not their set tee time. Used to play here a lot, but this was the last time.
Great course
This course has a great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Short course but it’s a great round of golf.
Fairways
Easily accessible off of either 50 or 408. Short but challenging layout. Always enjoy my round at this course.
Fairways
Easily accessible off of either 50 or the 408. Short course but very challenging. In great shape.
Fairways
Hidden gem. Short but challenging. In good condition. Easily accessible off both the 408 and 417.
Course & Staff
The course is short and not usually in good shape. The greens are green average but slow and the fairways always need love. Speaking of love, the man who runs the cart barn clearly wasn’t loved growing up. Possibly the rudest person I’ve come across at a golf course and in this community. Maybe his ponytail was too tight that day but he was a garage person

Love the people, love the value , love the course layout. But at the moment, the course is a bit dried
