Fairways Country Club
About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Not Bad for the money
The course is in 3 star condition. The fairways are a little bare in spots, lots of hard pan from traffic etc. the greens are ok, not the best I’ve seen them but ok. The course is a decent value if you can get a hot deal. The most annoying part is the staff member that rides around on his cart harassing golfers. On the third hole the dude drives up in my back swing and ask us if we paid, then continued to the group in front of us and asked them the same. Then on the back the same guy is harassing the group in front of us because they have beer that wasn’t purchased there. Someone needs to have a word with this guy about golf eduque.
Much Improved
The course is in much better shape than the last time I played it. They also have new carts that weee great. All but a couple holes were in good shape. Greens were firm and true.
Booked through golf online and didn’t have a code to get in!!
Great Course
Great course. Somewhat challenging and very well kept. Staff was awesome and very knowledgeable. Pace was a little slow due to a few groups who played mulligans every hole. Was an awesome experience.
****Remember to check your golf notes for the gate code.
Theme Park Monstrosity
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I stepped onto this so-called golf course. Located in a trailer park, it’s like hitting golf balls in someone’s backyard! The residents seemed to enjoy making our day miserable, as they yelled and caused disruptions just for fun. And don’t even get me started on the head pro. The guy looked like he was stuck in the 70s, and his attitude was just as outdated. He snapped at us for asking simple questions and seemed more interested in displaying a short fuse that’s a danger to anyone within earshot. His unprofessional behavior included shouting at us for asking simple questions and generally acting as if he hated his job.
hat you wouldn’t wish upon your worst enemy. It’s painfully obvious that the green fees aren’t being invested in maintenance. If you value your time, money, and sanity, find any other option in Central Florida. This place has been the worst option for years.
Nonsensical Rain Check Policy
Paid for 18 holes walking, started storming after we played 2, so we left (at 5:30) nobody was in the pro shop. So I callled the next morning and the guy on the phone is telling us that someone already called and said we wanted a rain check and that we played 9 holes. He is either flat out lying or has the wrong guy. He says we won’t get a full rain check and will have to pay the difference which makes 0 sense because we only played 2 holes. Started giving me horrible attitude as well. Will never come back. Course is in absolutely horrible conditions as well. I refuse to not get a full rain check because we did not even get to play 9 holes due to weather when we paid for 18.
Fairways
Greens and fairways in very poor condition. Also crab grass all over.
