About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Good good course.
Call course before heading over as you will need to call golf shop to enter gate. Overall good challenging course with tight fairways. Above average maintenance

fairways were beautiful would rate 10/10
greens were dead but not unplayable
tee boxes could use some love
no driving range but a net with matts to hit into
Great value for the money.
Good course for beginner/intermediate players. Juniors are free so perfect for kids. Short par 3’s and a couple short par 4’s. Staff was excellent and will hopefully go back to play there again.
First time at Fairwayd
Course layout is good and challenging. The condition of fairways, tee boxs and greens were poor. I know it seems dry for Florida, but not a four star rated course.
Fairways
Short but challenging by course. Plays through a 55 plus manufactured home community. Many holes either with carry or water in play. Easily accessible off the 408.
Tight in Places
Don't really need your driver much on this course. It is tight in places. It has a lot of water.and houses. Pretty fun and challenging. The greens are very nice on this course. I would play again.
Very nice layout, green very good and fast, fairway in good shape.
Fairways
Last time I played the course was pre-pandemic. Pleasantly surprised at condition. Lots of water comes into play on this relatively short course. Definitely will be back.
Golf Orlando
Some of the homes very close to greens and fairways...luckily I didn't hit any...Whew
Hidden gem
This course is a hidden gym. Very well maintained and fun to play. It’s short yardage wise, but the greens are challenging. The only thing I would say negatively was that feeling of being rushed by the starter. I was there about 15 min before my scheduled tee time and the starter was trying to rush me to the first tee before a large group of members were about to tee off. Don’t offer that time if you are just going to rush people on. Other than that, it was an excellent day.
Challenging little course
Fairways doesn’t play long, but it is exceptionally tight. And the proximity to the homes adds to the perception of the narrow fairways. Greens were fast and true, and fairways were in good condition. I’ll definitely play here again - great price for a fun round.
