Fairways Country Club
About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Fun place to play!
We always have a great time at this course and Josh in the pro shop is very friendly. Even if it’s crowded, people are respectful and considerate.
Houses everywhere
Tight fairways with densely packed houses surrounding the entire front 9, and most of the back 9. Do not play here if you battle a slice! If you are even the slightest bit inaccurate off the tee you WILL hit a house!
Course and greens were in good condition, and was a good value for the fee.
Greens are good
The photos of the course must’ve been taken years ago as they did not depict the true course. The lakes were all very low and in need of cleaning. The fairways were bare and there wasn’t a restroom in sight. The carts are in need of major repairs as seats were tore and my cart felt like it was going to lose it’s tires. Will not be going back and may have to look elsewhere for better reviews before purchasing tee times again.
Fun course
For a tight golf budget it’s challenging with lots of water hazards and narrow fairways. Don’t let the mobile home park atmosphere put you off, it’s a lot of fun once you’re out there!
Recent Round
Overall, the courses is in god shape. Greens are the best I've seen here. Fairways are fine & lots of water. Staff is friendly & helpful,
It was all right
The best was the turtles on the par 3. Otherwise it was just an allright course. The greens weren't in the best of conditions. Based on other courses in the area it was overpriced, even as a hot deal.
Great rolling greens!
Very pleasant course. You don't need to be a "long hitter' to survive this place, ... but accuracy/shot making counts.
good over all experience
Only problem was when the guy who cleans the carts came by about 5 and told everyone they must finish by 5:30 and no later, even though there are no signs that state this in the pro shop nor on the website. The guy wanted to leave early so he rushed everyone to finish which didn’t seen fair
Perfect for what I need
This is exactly what I need on a regular basis - a place that's close to my house, rarely busy and a short little layout that is perfect for my golf-crazed 11-year-old son.
Didn't know what to expect when I first went there (it's in the middle of a 55-over community) but I was pleasantly surprised. The people are friendly and, more importantly, the greens were decent, which is all I need to make me happy. I'll be back...a lot.
Nice Course
I played here about a year ago when they were upgrading some holes, I must say it turned out really well, the greens are very playable the fairways are a bit dry , but well kept, I must say I have seen worse courses than this for the type of weather we are having, but Fairways is definately a course I would recommend for a fun day out, good golf, I will surly be back soon, oh did I mention I played my best game ever. broke my score of 77, I shot 73 from the grren tees. Awesome. see you soon.
Much Improved and Great Value
Improvements on the conditions of the course have been great. Greens and fairways have been well kept. Major improvements! Staff was very polite and helpful.
Very nice course
Been here along time but never played it for whatever reason. This was a very nice surprise only because of where it's located. I have played it several times since and have brought several friends they all think it's a great course for the price. Course is very good shape we love the layout, tight but not very manageable. Only non liked thing I could say is the members/residents we encountered were pretty rude,it's that entitlement thinking. They didn't think they had to let 2somes go by a 4some or 5some which they don't have to but etiquette is a good thing and they just come from wherever on their fancy carts and start playing had them jump out in front a couple of times.. This will not stop us from playing there really like the course. Keep up the good work.
Short and tight
Great value very tight course feel like you are on people front or back porch! Good place to take kids. Fairways were ok in some overgrown in others. Tee box where excellent greens needed to be cut but great to take kids learning!
What a difference a year makes
Also played the week before. I hadn't been back here for over a year due to the poor conditions, but how things have changed. Only a couple of fairways that need some more attention, but the tee boxes and greens are thousands times better. Yes, the greens are a little slow (okay a lot slow), but I figure they are keeping them longer through the heat of summer to make sure they are really established, then this winter will trim them down and they will be fast, slick little mothers. I appreciate the backfill on #10 next to the lake, and the tree removal throughout the course. Have already booked for next week.
Currently Best Course in East Orlando!!!
For the price you pay and the conditions. You can't beat it. Fairly easy track. I stopped playing here for a while when they shut down part of the course for new irrigation. Now that irrigation system is paying off. I never thought grass would grow on hole #6 and it's now coming along. The conditions are way way better than Eastwood and a better value than stoneybrook. My only gripe are the slow putting greens. The tee boxes are in great shape, fairways look great, and it's never really busy out there. I took my employees from the bank out for a round and we had a blast. Staff and Manager Christian is mad cool too. Fairways today vs last year has shown tremendous improvement
Best greens in East Orlando
I've played every course in the area, Eastwood, Wedgefield, Stoneybrook, Twin Rivers, etc. and none compare to Fairways. The round is insanely cheap, I played on a senior day (Thursday) for just $18 but I also saw Tuesday was a senior day and their student rates were only $15. For that price I wasn't expecting much but boy did I get a lot for that price. The staff was extremely pleasant and outgoing and genuinely wanted to see me have a good time while there, the course conditions were great. Tee boxes and greens were fantastic, a few fairways still need some TLC but the manager there was explaining how they recently put in a new irrigation system and what the plans are for the future of the course. I had a hotdog combo for $5 which was one of the best hot dogs I've ever eaten and it included chips and a fountain drink, and also $12 six-packs of beer, I thought those prices were long gone on a golf course. I've never had a bad experience here and every time I play somewhere else it just reminds me of how much better it is at Fairways. Give it a shot guys, you'll love it!
