About
The Country Club of Miami, located near residential areas, boasts two courses, the East Course and the West Course. Both golf courses at the club have seen many famous players including Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, and Jack Nicklaus. The West Course features rolling greens as well as many strategically placed bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The course is very well maintained and provides a good game for players of any skill level. Conveniently, the golf club has a large pitting, putting, and chipping area where golfers can work on their short game and there is also a grass driving range.

Better than expected
Some pretty harsh reviews, but we found it quite pliable for the money. Was better than we expected. A little old and rough in places, but a good enough vacation course.
Course needed some TLC.
Fairways were thin, greens bad.
Nice overall layout, but everything flat.
Another good course to try out
I prefer this course (West) than the one in East side. The layout is more interesting. The condition is also fair in general but is better than the East side. I would come back.
Great Layout
over all the course layout very good and very challenging. expected this time of year very crowded but the place of play was moving steadily.
The course could get five stars across the board if they would just get rid of some of the patchy grass.
Worts Course in Miami
They overbook the golf course, therefore the pace of play is poor. Every time I come here i count one hour and a half per 3-4 holes. That’s 6-8 hours match play.
The level is terrible.
An excellent day of golf
Carts were new with comfortable with GPS. Course was was in was in good condition for time of year. Staff was helpful. Will play again. Good value for tha.price.
Fairways were fine, greens not so good.
Fairways were fine, some greens were wet like a sponge and unkept a little. Overall, good compared to Grand Palms Golf course
Greens
The conditions of the greens makes it impossible to put. Should let the players know so they can make the decision weather to play or not.
No marshall
greens need cutting - impossible to putt. Four some,group infront partying on every tee box - will,not let a s8ngle player thru and,no,Marshall.. Skipped holes 14 &15 and still,finished in 4 1/2 hours.
A piece of history
This Is a Robert Trent Jones design with 2, 18 hole courses . It has a rich history from the 60's with famed Celebrity members and hall of fame golfers playing here.
The West course has plenty of water making shot selection off the tee a premium,. While not being overly punitive you do have to think about where to place your ball and club selection. I found the layout to be very nice and and very manageable. From the white tees all the greens were reachable in regulation. The course does get a lot of play as do most of the public courses. The conditions were good. Most greens were in good shape although a couple looked as though they had been recently reseeded and sandeded
Same thing for the tee boxes most pretty good. The pace of play for me was excellent . I played as a single and my paring did nor show so I went solo and Quickley was allowed to play through two groups I finished in under 4 hours on a Saturday.. I will definitely play the course again
I found it a good value for the money
