About
The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

Island offers better
Sand! Sand! Sand! And not in the bunkers. Fairways and greens just lined with sand. The layout is nice but for the money, on vacation, I’d spend $5 more and go somewhere else nice. Also, no turn so you have to pre buy everything, no food offered on the course and can’t carry your own. There were locals jumping in front of us and playing random holes then going home. First and last time we will play this one on vacation

Brick Landing has come a long way in the last 2 years! Staff and especially the Pro Shop are professional and friendly! The course conditions have improved so much that it rivals most courses in the Strand!

Don’t go
Friendly staff and great course layout. However the greens were horrible. Majority of them had markings of ground under repair and were recently punched and very sandy. I may go back one day but will not book online unless I call in advance to find out about greens. Price charged not worth the value received.

I played this course several years ago and it was in great condition. Today the course needs a lot of work. Sad because it could be so good. Beautiful views of the waterway and some challenging holes. Greens need a lot of work and the tee boxes on several holes are rough as well. Lots of sand bunkers that need some attention. It was $35 after 12 which was probably a fair price for the condition.

Coarse layout was nice and the fairways were good but the greens were a little rough.

Course needs some TLC. Greens were areated but nothing notified that prior to booking. Multiple greens were bare or not upkept well. 75% of the course was in solid condition, and overall was a good value. Not top dollar green fees and not a top dollar course. Multiple holes had great water views. Course is continuous and pro shop doesn't have a great food and drink selection.

Course was regrowing greens
Some of the greens were being regrown, which was understandable but all greens were patchy with sand and not well kept, tee boxes were hit or miss, even hitting off soft sand from the tee box

I have read all the previous reviews and went into my round with an open mind. I got a cheap hot deal and was prepared for a course with some issues. I was surprised to find that the course was in great condition. Yes there are a couple temporary greens that the staff clearly explains before you start and it’s posted in every cart. Most of the previous complaints were probably from people who did not pay attention prior to the round. Boxes, fairways and around the greens were 4/5. Cart path was in fine condition. Staff was friendly as they were explained the course does not loop so there is no “turn” you don’t come back by the clubhouse after the 9th hole so bring plenty of snacks and drinks. Overall loved it and will play again.

Several greens(4) played were temporary greens. Rough and around tee boxes could have been mowed but it has rained a lot in the area recently. Fairways were just ok. Some better than others. Have been playing this course since the early 90"s.
