Course was great, staff was not
As far as the golf course goes, it’s very fun to play and love the layout. The course was not the issue. I put together a group of 12 guys to play this course and the starter Ace could not of been more unwelcoming then I could ever imagine. He must of yelled at everyone that was in ear shot of him. It took are bags 15 minutes to move from bag drop off to the bag area and then when we went to go hit balls he yelled at me, telling us we must be crazy if we think we are getting on the driving range. After our first 18 we had a replay for another 18. I approached him to ask when we could expect to go off again and got an ear full of hate. You would think that I punched his mother in the face or something. I will never go back because of Ace.
Good value
Nice golf course in good shape. Good value for the price. Will definitely play again.
Excellent course
Will definitely play here again when we come back. Perfect greens tee boxes and fairways. Watch for alligators and snakes tho
Fun day
Friendly staff very busy very well organized getting people off on time. Excellent condition tees fairways and greens
Will Play Again
We were pleasantly surprised. the mob scene at the starter was replaced by a round with no one within sight. Long par 5's and long par 3's, but it played quite fairly. Large greens that were tough and challenging. Over-seeding was well done. A god round and we will play it again.
Terific Value
The course was in very good shape. Beautiful over seeded fairways and tees. Interesting layout with water coming in to play on a majority of the holes. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was the only issue, 5 1/2 hours for the 18, We were stuck behind four very poor women golfers who had at least 5 holes open in front of them. No Marshal so our day was really starting to drag by 18. Luckily we had lots of time to enjoy the sunshine
Very nice
Second time playing the course. First time was just after hurricane Florence. Although really wet, course was in really good shape. This time, course was much dryer, and in even better condition. The layout is a bit challenging, but not overly challenging, and fair. Greens were receptive, but rolled very nicely. Fringe was very spongy though. Course was packed, but the starter and staff did a great job. Got paired with two others, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Pace was pretty good, considering how many players were on the course, but our back 9 did get pretty backed up, which was a bit frustrating. With that being said, I will definitely be back.
Have the chance good course to play
Played all week in this area. This was one of the best of the week for the price and quality. Very nice very green. Full of gators as well so keep your eyes open!!
Great course condition for the season!
We truly enjoyed our round as this course was in great Spring shape, the greens were perfect. Kudos
