The 18-hole Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club in Sunset Beach, North Carolina is a public golf course that opened in 1987. Sandpiper is best value
Sandpiper Bay is in great condition. Probably the best value on Strand.
Golf at Sandpiper Bay
When we arrived there were a lot of golfers waiting to go. I thought this was going to be an Epic slow day. WRONG, once we got going no waiting no holdups, course ran smoothly. 4 hr round. Perfect weather day. First day in M.B. Coming from the North weather was perfect!

Great day at the Sandpiper.
Thé course was in excellent condition for this time of year and the weather was perfect for a round of golf.
Enjoyed our round to the point that we already booked our next round for this week

Comfortable residential course. I played all 27 holes on this visit and enjoyed my day. There is always one hole someone doesn't get or like but that isn't a drawback on the layout for me. Conditions with new greens were well ahead of a lot of courses in the area this time of year. Staff great.
Lots of water and sand
The course was a little wet with cart path only on a few holes. The pace of play was terrific, little over 4 hours. Will be returning soon.

Course conditions were really good for February. The layout was excellent. Greens were in great shape. The work the course has put in really shows. Staff were outstanding! Would definitely play here again.
