Great Value
Great 3 x 9 layout. Courses were in very good shape. Greens were fast and true. Layout was challenging and fun. Staff was outstanding. Pace of play could have been faster. Highly recommend. Enjoy.
Round worth the money
Played Sandpiper Bay Sand to Piper course - course was in great shape although pace was a little slower than desired. Definitely worth the money - great value.
Good course...great challenge
It had been hot, muggy & rainy for a week before we played Sandpiper and the course was still in excellent condition. The greens were smooth and true. The fairways were well groomed and remarkably dry in most areas. The sandtraps were even in top shape.
We always enjoy playing Sandpiper Bay.
Played it once a long time ago-will play it again
Played Sandpiper a long time ago; golf game was not great at all then. Played it three weeks ago. Pace of play was slow at first, but once we got going, finished in about 4 hours and 10 minutes. Course layout was good, condition above average. Challenging but fair set up. Played okay for the front nine and shot 4 over in the back nine, mainly inspired by the condition and layout of the course. Would return again!
No bay at Sandpiper Bay
Greens were speedy, but true. Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. Don't expect to see a lot of water on this course, as it is inland. Nothing especially memorable compared to other options in the North Myrtle Beach area though.
Great course in pristine condition.
This is a great golf course and for the price it's hard to get a better bang for your buck. Greens were as good as I've seen on any course ever, especially in late July! They were true, fast, and soft. Only downside was that I didn't play all 54 holes.
Sandpiper Bay - great value for the money
Course was in great shape - staff is very friendly and price for the round was a great value. Pace of play was a little slow t times.
Hot-n-Slow
Over Booking made the Day Long and Hot. Many players were grade D with no etiquette, teaching is for the range not during a round and No Marshal to move players along. Money is more important than enjoying ones' round. Tees are in poor shape along with traps and would rate the course fair. Plan on 4+ hours to play...
Best course in Sunset Beach area
The BEST course in Sunset Beach area. They really cater to us out of towners. I play here every year and will continue to! Greens in phenomenal condition! Thanks again to everyone who keeps this place a true gem!
Excellent golfing venue
If you are playing golf in the NC / SC beach area, this course is a must.
Great value
I've played Sandpiper before but I took my 88 year old FIL with me for this round. The staff was extremely accommodating with his limitations which enabled him to enjoy his round. The course is in really good shape. The greens are firm and much faster than average which is my preference, and it's hard to find greens where there is a lot of play like that. The reads are true so it's just a matter of getting the right speed. A very fair layout and a super value via GolfNow.
plesuable round
Greens were fast, loved them, played 18 under 4 hours. Could not have been happier with the course and the day. Played the senior tees. If you want a higher challenge there are two more tee boxes further back. Booking was simple online. Price was appropriate.
wife aced #6 piper
i highly recommend this course. Pro shop and starter could not have been nicer. The 27 hole layout could not have been more pleasing and it did not hurt that my wife had a hole in one on #6 piper course.
