Enjoyable day
Course was in good shape
Greens good but slow
Staff at bag drop could be a little more courteous
wet
Of the 27 holes, only 9 holes have fairways over seeded. Playing on mud.
Feb, 2017
Greens in great condition, fairway and Traps were fine. Grass was dorment and thick around greens/fairways..
Starter concern
I made my tee time at 5:37 PM for 11:30 AM the next day . When I arrived at the course paid and went to the starting area.
I was told by the starter that the reservation "did not transfer" because it was made after 5 PM.
I was then told because the starter did not have the reservation I "would have to wait".
I went back to then pro shop who told the starter I was "good to go".
After some more arguing he finally got my wife and I out.
All he had to say was there is a mix-up but he will us out.
Rudy treated
good value for the money
enjoyed our day at Sandpiper. Greens were decent...fairways on one 9 was overseeded but on the second 9 no overseed. That's a bit unusual. Staff was very friendly.
Bay and Sand
Got a good price on Golf Now. Conditions were chilly and breezy but sunny. Greens were excellent, rolled fast and smooth. Winter overseed was thin on the fairways, otherwise course conditions rating would be higher. Good value overall though. They have a nice practice facility, including range, chipping/pitching green, and large putting green. Staff was very accommodating. Would recommend it for overall value.
enjoyable round
got a great deal on golf now, was paired with a nice group of guys was 1st group out played 4 hour round. winter over seed a bit thin on fairways, tee boxes should have been mowed a little shorter, greens were in perfect shape, over all I was pleased and would give it 4 stars and will play it again, I recommend this course,
great value
The course was in great shape, and would recommend this course.
Great afternoon of golf
My son and I played on Friday. Course was in great shape and all of the staff were friendly. Ate lunch and the restaurant and food was really good. Greens rolled good.
Love The Greens
I am a snowbird & have played 8 rounds on 5 different courses since January 1st. Their greens are the best I have played this year. No real complaints about the greens at the other 4 courses, but these a very good.
Nice course.
We played the Sand and Piper courses. We had not played the Piper course previously. We had excellent weather for Dec, 31 and found the course to be in top notch condition.
ENJOYED
My wife and I enjoyed playing this course. The condition was good, not like some of the other courses we have played since being in MB and the holes had some character and not all look the same.
Challenging but fair design
Despite intermittent rain showers and a couple of soggy areas, the course played very well. We were on the Piper and Bay courses, which provided different designs and challenges. Greens were in excellent shape. Best I've played in the four courses I've been on in December. Nice clubhouse and very friendly staff, from the pro shop to the starter to the snack bar. Would definitely play there again.
Play Bay
The Bay 9 holes were every good. Enjoyed Bay 9 the best great condition and scenic.
Can I move to MYB
Great value for the money .Really enjoyed the course. Played with (2) members that said the greens were slow. Not to me .
Excellent Replay
Have been playing it for about 20 years on my annual vacation and always have enjoyed the round! This year it was two rounds. Course in great shape following hurricane. I take all my guests to Sandpiper Bay!
Good course, good deal...not friendly people
A good round on a well groomed course. Front nine moved okay but caught up on back with late tee offs...slow but acceptable. Checkin was fast and friendly. Stopped for drinks and a snack at the turn...major mistake. Long slow line taking care of members done with their round....others cut in line...no one friendly....hmmmmm
Nice course
The course is in great condition. Water is in play on many of the holes and the rough although not long will grab your club.We enjoyed our round and will return!
