Excellent
Quality price is good.the course was in great shape, Fairway excellent and green exceptional.
This was the best deal I had in Myrtle Beach for a regular player.
Very nice for the money
Good choice for an above average course.
Fantastic Fall Play
Great condition, great layout! Couldn't ask for anything more on a gorgeous Fall day!
GREENS IN GREAT SHAPE
BEST CONDITIONS OF A COURSE SINCE THE 3 WEEKS WE HAVE BEEN IN SC.
Friendly staff
Considering Hurricane Matthew had only been through about 3 weeks ago, course was in great shape. Pace of play was great until we caught up to the men's league and it slowed down. Still played in 4.5 hrs. though. Lunch in the clubhouse was good value. Best fish sandwich ever! Will definitely tell our friends back home about this gem.
Exceeded Expectations
First time playing SandPiper Bay and I enjoyed the day a lot. I was amazed at how nice the course is especially for the great price I got on GolfNow. The greens were in great shape, fast but consistent which allowed me to figure out their speed. The practice green was a bit slower than the actual greens which messed me up at the start. Had a nice mix with a couple of tiered, a few tilted but mostly flat greens. They were large enough and not impossible to hit. The fairways were perfect. They set the ball up nicely and were soft allowing an easy divot . Their width was also reasonable so when I missed it was my own doing. I shot several strokes below my average and this I attribute this to the above average quality of fairways and greens. The natural areas were clean and woods free of brush and debris. The practice green was large and better than average. I didn't use the practice range. There was a chipping green not found at a lot of courses I play. Overall an excellent experience which I hope to repeat soon.
Nice course
Played Piper and Bay, conditions were good even after hurricane. Greens were in great shape!
Great condition and layout.
Sandpiper was in great condition. No evidence of hurricane Matthew. Greens were some of the best I've played on in the last 6 months. Staff always friendly and the bonus of the driving range, chipping area and putting green are the value added to a great day of golf. Best bang-for-the-buck anywhere!
Great day of golf
The weather was almost perfect & Sandpiper Bay matched it.
The staff ( bag men, pro shop personnel & starter) were all friendly & helpful.
The course was in tremendous condition...the best greens we played on all summer.
Topped off with our foursome completing the round in 3-3/4 hours!
Great course!
There were a lot of golfers scheduled to play. Staff was very effecient in loading and moving us out to play. Pace of play was a little slow to begin with but quickly spread out.
Great Layout
The course was om great shape considering Hurricane Matthew had come through the weekend before. Ground crew working hard to make course great again.
Hurricane Matthew - modest problem
Golf course was open although debris all over the course after Hurricane Matthew. Did not appear there was any overwhelming hurry on the part of maintenance crew to get the holes cleaned up. However, course was otherwise in pretty good condition and a pleasure to play. Staff there was very friendly.
Sandpiper sand.
Medium difficulty course with water and plenty of sand. True consistent greens in excellent condition.
Good Layout for All Levels of Golfers
I enjoy the course layout, with some challenging holes and some that are easier. The greens are "tricky" fast with subtle breaks in most cases. Get used to the speed & you will be okay. This is in contrast to the soggy, wet areas around the greens which meant the ball has to carry to the green and land softly on the fast green. There was plenty of rain in days leading up to our round, and a rain cloud stopped our play for about 15 minutes. Water hazards are in play on several holes, so watch the flags surrounding them.
Very nice for the price
Had a great experience playing 18 of the 27 holes. Truly enjoyed the round. Staff was friendly and organized. Overall, the best value in the area for a golf round.
Son-in-law Challenge
Nice course qand surroundings
Really like Sandpiper Bay
I've played Sandpiper at least 5 times. I really like this course. It is fair and challenging all at the same time. The staff is excellent....friendly and helpful. There are 3 nines, all of which I've played and enjoyed.
Great Course - Fantastic GolfNow Value!
Sandpiper is an excellent course and the GolfNow price was better than making a tee time directly with the Proshop. I wish the course would add GPS to their carts.
