About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Nice track for the money. Got stuck behind a very slow foursome which was oblivious to other groups playing.
Everything was good but for the pace of play. Some old farts in front of us treated us to an almost five hour round of golf on a colder weekday. Unacceptable and no ranger on duty to monitor.

Some of the best greens around.
I have enjoyed playing this course recently, I love the green complexes and they roll true. Nice mix of holes with elevation changes. Carts paths are a disaster and the clubhouse is small. Its a long ride to this course, but worth it at least once a quarter. I play somewhere weekly.

Love this Course!
Always a great round at Eagle Chase,! Course is in immaculate shape, fairways tight, greens roll true (maybe a tad slow, for me anyway)! The guys in the pro shop are extremely accommodating, Matt calls me by name even though he only sees me once a month or so. Love coming here, just wished I lived closer.

Favorite Course
We play all over the area within 50 miles of Charlotte and Eagle Chase is our favorite. The course conditions, layout, variety of shots are excellent. We will play this course as much as possible in the future.

Favorite Course
This is easily my favorite course to play. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. This course is always in great condition. The greens were really nice and fairways were well manicured.There are elevation changes and hazard mixed in all over the course. Do yourself a favor and play here.

Excellent greens
3rd time playing here recently. Very good greens. Cart paths are crap...just have to cope with it. Excellent value and worth the drive from Matthews.

Great Value But Slow Play
Course was great value. Greens, Fairways, Tee Boxes all in nice shape. Cart Paths are another story. 90 degree rule on those cart paths is teeth jarring. Pace of play was awful initially. I thought it was just my playing partners as we were just teeing off on 3 at 45 mins. But at that pace we actually caught group in front. Might just have been this day but playing that slow ruins experience. Drove 45-50 mins to play here. I like Old Sycamore, Edgewater much better if I'm driving that far. But definitely has a few scenic holes

Far out but awesone
Far away from south Charlotte, but it may be my favorite course in the CLT region. Only complaint is their cart paths need repair. Really love this place.

Met high expectations
Views and hills for days! Definitely one of the most fun if not the most fun sub $40/50 course. Right up there with red bridge and rocky river rd. Each hole has its own characteristics, challenges, dangers. Very few flat “simple” holes. Greens run true and fast (well maintained). Only downside is the cart path. (Thankfully they carts have thickkk cushions).
