About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Great Course for January Play
Playing a round in the middle of January, there really isn't too much you should be complaining about; however, the course conditions were generally solid. Greens were well kept and up to speed, there was a tiny bit of work being done with the overseed for 2024 season. The rain cut off around our tee time and we finished a solid sub-4 hour round. (Three-some)
Turn dog was not up to it's usual par for Eagle Chase, only complaint. Eagle Chase usually delivers me a quality frank, but just didn't hit today.
One of Charolotte's Best
Perfect as always! Course in great shape as always. I consider the greens to be among some of the best in the greater Charolotte area, they are always in great shape all year long, and always run true. Bunkers are great since being redone a few years back. Amazing layout with many challenges, with various elevations and topography.
Great course, great staff, awful clientele
The course is one of the best I’ve played for being the end of December in NC. Staff was very friendly and super helpful getting around. The clientele the course brings in, however, is terrible. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, and some of the people playing it have no idea how to act in public, let alone a golf course.
Loved this course....EASILY the best local public course within an hour of Uptown Charlotte.

Always a good time here, the group in front was real slow (2holes behind at the turn) but otherwise a good time.

Greens need some work!
Great course to play. Challenging shot making with either uphill, downhill, sidehills lies. Most greens are mound shaped. I would have given it a 5-star but the green are in terrible condition with numerous pot marks.

Leaves starting to show up but overall course was in great shape. Bunkers are maybe the best I have seen on a public golf course.

Course in great shape as always. All bunkers properly raked before first group out, greens a little bit slow but in great condition.
