Third time playing
Greens are great fairways are descent. Only a few places bare on the course itself. We enjoyed the round.
Getting Better
Friends of mine said beware of all the pipe lines that they dug up and did not replant grass on ruts left. But most have now grown in and don’t affect golf play. I almost holed out 2 shots from bunkers, so most are in good shape.
Best course for the money!
Pine Ridge Country Club is without a doubt the best course in the area for the price. They don’t overcharge, prices are fair for what you are getting. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The pace of play is great. I’ve played there many times over the years. They continue to make improvements. The greens are in great shape. For the price point you are paying, You can not beat it. The course itself is fun and challenging. They also have a restaurant for those making the turn hot dogs or after round burgers.
Nice track for a late afternoon round
The course is in pretty good shape especially the greens. Fairways are ok and some sand traps are a bit rocky. All in all an enjoyable course. The cart paths are the strangest I’ve ever encountered as many of them don’t travel even a fraction of the hole. Not a big deal but something I wish I had known.
Good "Bang for your Buck" Course
Drive an hour and half to meet family and friends to play this course. It's a tad "rough around the edges" but, really enjoyable layout with greens that are in suburb condition right now. I always feel that I've gotten my moneys worth and have a great time when I play here !
Good Day at Pine Ridge
Course is in good shape. Saturday morning was busy, play was slow but manageable.
Great greens
Greens were in their best shape so far this season, and among the best in the CSRA, where other courses lost some or all of their greens.
Pro was extremely helpful
First time golfing here but would certainly go back to play again. Pro was outstanding!
Beautiful but busy
Waited on every shot and had group waiting on me for every shot. I find that so irritating. However the course was in good shape other than the French drains that were newly installed, but that isn’t a big deal, it means they are on top of constantly bettering the facilities. Will play again.
Rude Staff
I play here quite often so imagine my surprise and dismay when the GM storms out to the 15th hole, driving his cart on the apron of the green, and demanding we speed up despite only having 3 holes to play. This completely ruined the day. We teed off at 12:00 noon sharp. This happened at 3:49 pm and we finished in 4 hrs 24 minutes. We finished on time in spite of his panicky warning not because of it. My only guess is some grumpy member playing the golds phoned in to narc on us. We finished in 4:24 despite allowing a group that was pressing us to play thru. We also offered to let a twosome thru but they declined. The GM claimed the whole course was backed up. False. As we teed off 17, there didn’t appear to be anyone between groups on 11 and 14 fairway. It was wrong to single us out because of grumpy member speed demons. It should also be noted the GM put a single out in front of us so it’s not like we fell behind. Context matters.
